Too caught up in their internal power-struggles, they never realized the number or might of their converging enemies until it was too late.



Down came the Castle and just barely they escaped with their lives.

As they recognized the full width of the disaster caused by their arrogance and carelessness, they knew from now on former enemies and allies alike would thirst for their punishment.



In short, they screwed up.

And so they ran.
