The princess is revealed part 2

From the corner two men dressed in black clothes appeared. Liana and Gwon turned around only to see another pair of men cutting their exit on the narrow street.

The other citizens didn't realize that Gwon and Liana were being chased and just went on with their normal day.

Gwon started to panic. He just couldn't change form there in the eyes of everyone, but neither could he afford not to.

"Don't worry. I know what to do. Just be ready to jump real high soon," Liana whispered.

As the men walked closer among the crowd Liana took a small knife from under her clothes and cut a rope that was holding a shop's sunshade. It fell on the two men and caused havoc on the streets. Gwon grabbed Liana and jumped over the men.

They started to run away with some of the men dressed in black giving chase to them.

"When did you get a knife?!" Gwon yelled.

"I may not know how to fight but I still come prepared."

As they were running through the busy street the number of people chasing them increased. Soon even more people, women as well, were giving chase at them.

They were stopped when the earth exploded underneath them. A man came to the scene and stared at Gwon and Liana.

"Who is this grey skin?" the man asked.

"We don't know. He was in the building where we heard the princess was staying. He dragged him out just before we were about to get her," one of the men in black explained.

Liana and Gwon stared at the man. He had a rather small and feeble divine aura on him. Still, a divinity was divinity and should not be underestimated in any situation.

"Hold down that grey skin, but do not hurt him too much. We do not want to be acting against the law here," the man ordered.

Gwon tried to fight back without turning in his Seng mode but was quickly overpowered by sheer numbers. Soon the man grabbed Liana by her hair and placed a blade on her throat.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" a civilian yelled and stopped the man.

More and more people started to intervene. From grey skins to humans alike.

It was a normal response seeing as a man was about to kill a young and innocent girl.

"This girl is no ordinary girl. She is the worst kind of monster that must be killed no matter what. She is Liana Jacob of the Jacob dynasty. The cursed and hated royals and enemy of Rufus Fairfax," the man yelled.

The citizens all started to talk in silence not believing what they just heard.

"This is harder to believe than to get a fair price from a Vatigaadian. We never have heard of a princess of the royal family," a man yelled out from the crowd.

"I know what I speak of. I was a royal guard in the palace, but I left during the riots. The existence of the princess was a secret, but I bet many of you have heard the rumors of her. I vow to you that she is the real thing. I vow on it with my life," the man yelled out to everyone.

"I know her also. I used to be a cleaner in the palace," one of the men in black yelled.

"I also. I was a regular servant as well in the palace and saw her often."

The people didn't know anymore what to believe in. As the man let go of the hand, the ex-royal guard was just about to slit the throat of Liana, but before he could a large claw came at him ripping the hand away.

It was Gwon in his Seng form.

"ITS THE SENG! RUN! IT HAS STARTED TO RAMPAGE! GET THE RAJA!"

The grey skin fled in horror as Gwon stood above Liana in a way to protect her.

The men in black attacked him from all sides. He couldn't move freely as he was trying to protect Liana. Spears and knives cut at his hind and front legs with him trying to claw anyone that got close to them.

"What the fuck is that thing!" the old royal guard yelled out.

"Don't know sir. It was there last time when we tried to capture the girl."

Gwon then bit off the head of one of the assailants as he was trying to rush in a strike at Liana. Even though his movements were hindered he was still a formidable opponent.

Then the earth under one of Gwon's legs gave out and trapped him. It was the man's divine power.

"Kill it now," the man yelled.

Gwon couldn't protect himself at that moment as the men in black rushed in. Instead of trying to fight back, he braced to protect Liana.

Gwon heard the yells of the men who had gone silent and looked at what had happened. Two of the men had died having small daggers of light punctured their heads. As they fell to the ground Gwon looked stunned and speechless. He looked down and saw small light daggers surrounding Liana. It was her divine power.

"SEE! CITIZENS OF THE CAPITAL! SHE BEARS THE SAME DIVINITY AS THE EVIL KING. HE TRULY IS A JACOB!" the man yelled out to all people watching.

There was no doubt anymore. It was clear that this girl was part of the Jacob family. The legendary divinity of light was known to all in the kingdom.

More and more people started attacking with Gwon trying to push them away, but soon ten to almost a hundred people started to storm them. Liana watched in horror, not knowing why, they looked at her with such eyes. She was utterly speechless but couldn't bring herself to hurt them. She remembered the nice couple who she had met before and to her, they all were like them.

The mob was just about to kill them all before a young man with a coat fell from the sky destroying the earth below him. A woman with blonde hair wearing a white toga a round shield and a spear followed soon.

It was Rufus and Doreen.

Everyone recognized them immediately. Rufus the king and Doreen the wisest person in the kingdom.

"IT'S THE KING! THE KING HAS COME TO EXECUTE THE MONSTER'S CHILD AND HER BEAST!" the crowd cheered.

Rufus looked extremely mad.

"SILENCE!" Doreen yelled and threatened them with her divine aura.

The crowd went silent.

Rufus then walked to Liana and Gwon.

"Is anyone hurt badly?" he asked.

Gwon turned back to his grey skin form with wounds all over his body. Liana was unhurt but small tears flowed from her cheeks.

Rufus lifted both Gwon and Liana and started to carry them away. The mob looked speechless and confused with no one being able to explain the situation.

"My king!"

The old royal guard limped towards Rufus and Doreen.

"My king. She is the daughter of the king. You may not have known this, but I got word of it and have brought her here to you to be dealt with," the man explained while still holding on to her arm that was shredded by Gwon.

"So you are the one who broke into my house and attacked these two?" Rufus asked.

"Yo…yo…your house….?"

"Doreen."

Doreen then shined her shield at the man turning him into stone. In just a few seconds the man turned into a statute that was left standing on the street. A statue with a shocked expression and a severed hand. A symbol of fear and a lesson to all.

"Most likely the entire city will soon hear about this. You will have to explain this to the rest of the nobles," Doreen said.

"You think what I did was wrong?"

"I think you have done many things wrong, but this. Nothing of it was wrong," Doreen said with a happy face.
