Sorcerers are elusive and enigmatic beings in the cosmos, inciting fear and loathing among the gods. Despite not being divine, their mastery of the wild divine winds allows them to perform miracles comparable to those of the gods. By tapping into their knowledge, they are capable of harnessing the winds to achieve boundless power.

However, sorcerers are vulnerable to the limitations of mortality, unlike the gods who possess eternal life. Their bodies are fragile, unlike the gods who channel their divinity from within. As a result, sorcerers require time and careful preparation to cast their spells, unlike gods and lesser divine beings who can use their powers almost instantly as long as they have the strength to perform them.

Sorcerors can bend reality to whatever extent as long as they have a complete understanding and knowledge of everything they want to do and know how to achieve it using their sorcery. In many ways people see sorcery more as a science and sorcerors study theory years before they enact the actual spell, as a ritual that went wrong can end the life of the sorcerer.

The method of harnessing the divine winds varies among sorcerers. Some prefer to use sacred texts, while others craft potent potions that attract divinity from the air. Others create machines and tools to control the winds. The same principles apply to gods, who can create similar items as long as their divinity corresponds to the required type and they infuse their divine essence into the creation.

Despite their awe-inspiring abilities, the gods hold a deep-seated fear of sorcerers, who pose a threat to their dominance in the heavens. The gods view sorcerers as rebels who dare to challenge their authority, and as such, they are often met with open hostility in the celestial realms.

However, the dwarves are a notable exception, as they are unthreatened by the powers of sorcerers and have a fascination with their knowledge. Unfortunately, their greed has resulted in a curse that haunts both their gods and people for eternity.
