Flight from Phala part 1

A few weeks passed, and Doreen had become the delight of the people of Phala. She was the crowd's favorite in the arena, skillfully defeating captured Multans and exotic beasts, such as black tigers and even a giant sloth.

Oghuz was quickly also put into the arena and forced to fight. He rapidly tore through his opponents, earning cheers from the crowd.

Meanwhile, Edward's situation in the palace was no less complicated. Roxetta's bizarre behavior continued, and he found himself in a constant state of vigilance. He missed the relative simplicity of the battlefield, where enemies were clear and objectives straightforward.

But as time went on, evil stirred in the forest. Far from the prying eyes of the Phala populace and the guards from the tower, forces gathered in the nearby forests. Multans were on the move.

One night, Edward found himself once again called to the queen's chamber, dreading the worst. He opened the chamber door and encountered a cloud of pink gas. He could barely see anything but walked forward.

He then stepped on something and looked down to see what he had hit. It was a leg, belonging to one of the courtiers, advisors to the queen, lying on the ground with saliva flowing from his mouth. A Sassan girl, evidently also inebriated, was straddling him.

Edward then looked ahead and saw a disgusting orgy. The gas seemed to dull all senses except touch. He saw the queen being caressed by five young Sassan men.

Edward felt disgusted as he witnessed the debauchery unfolding before him in the queen's chamber. The air was thick with the sweet, cloying scent of the pink gas, which seemed to induce a state of heightened sensuality and reduced inhibitions in everyone present. The courtiers, whom he had seen composed before, were now lost in a haze of carnal excess.

The queen, Roxetta, was at the center of it all, her laughter echoing through the room as she reveled in the attention of the young Sassan men.

Soon, Edward started to feel dizzy and saw young Sassan women removing his clothes. He tried to leave, but then the queen, exerting her powerful divine aura, shouted, "You are not leaving."

Edward looked back. Some courtiers poured some green liquid for her, and she summoned more pink gas. The queen then walked towards him and whispered in his ear, "Join us now. Feel the pleasure of flesh alone."

Edward felt dizzy and struggled to fight the powerful miasma. Soon, he felt powerless, and his vision faded.

He soon saw some courtiers pour the same green liquid into his mouth.

He woke up the next morning, surrounded by five naked Sassan women. He immediately felt regret, followed by nausea, which forced him to rush out of bed and vomit into the nearby vase.

"What the hell was in that pink gas?" he thought to himself, but then remembered the green liquid.

His hand was shaking, but it was his mind that felt the most affected. Everything was blurry, and he felt tired and listless.

"This isn't a normal hangover," he muttered, looking at the women who were also inebriated and had passed out with their eyes still open, yellow goo oozing from their eyes, barely alive.

He then realized that the green substance must have been toxic. He thought about leaving, but when he opened the door, guards were behind it, ready to alert the queen. He was still trapped in the palace.

Back in the dungeons of the arena, Doreen was given a meager meal, nowhere near enough to sustain herself. She looked at Oghuz and asked, "How do you retain all that muscle?"

"Monster... eat," he replied, pulling out a monster's leg he had just slain in the arena.

Doreen was disgusted and chose to eat her meager meal rather than indulge in raw monster meat.

She was placed in a cell that was better guarded, ensuring she could no longer escape. The only freedom she was given was when she had to enter the arena.

Day in and day out, more Multans were captured. The lower dungeons, filled with these barbaric people, were starting to get crowded.

Doreen heard one of the guards saying, "These crazy Multans. Did you hear what one of the hunters said about these bastards?"

"What?"

"Apparently they're so demotivated that they just surrender to them. The jungles must be facing a crazy drought or some disease that's forcing them to prefer the cells over there."

"Good for us, then, hahaha."

"Yes. Now that we have that savage human female as well, we will see double the fun with these bastards getting bashed all around."

~~

But down in the dungeons, there was no noise, and the Multans were not crying for help. They were quiet and waiting.
