JACOB crouched between her chest and released a deep breath. It mirrored his awful feelings.

Angeline's hand moved, and her palms caressed her husband's face even though she felt pain in her back. She tried not to show pain in front of  Jacob, who looked up and was somewhat disappointed, finally showing upfront his frustration, but he nodded softly.

"You owe me," he said coldly and violently claimed her lips, but Angeline ignored his harsh onslaught of the kiss. Instead, she warmly returned the kiss to her lips with his punishing kisses. She forgot her brother's situation for a moment and kissed her husband with so much earnest desire.

But suddenly, Jacob lifted his face, leaving her lips in the air, wanting to be kissed.

Jacob was undeniably pissed, and he got up briskly. She could not hide her hurt feelings at her husband's violent departure. She bent down to fight the tears that wanted to clot in the corners of her eyes.
