A Matter of the Heart

"WHAT's wrong with you? You seemed agitated," Odette commented to Angeline as she quietly rested her elbow on the window sill and seemed deep in thought.

"Nothing special. I'm just annoyed that man ignored me even in front of my brother," she replied with her eyebrows knitted unpleasantly.

"Do you mean to say you don't feel you love him anymore?"

Angeline darted a glance at Odette driving the car, "I haven't seen your boyfriend lately. Did you have a petty quarrel again?"

"So much for irrational moments; your instinct is high, Angela."

"Really? You broke up again?"

"Something like that," Odete replied, followed by brisked exhale. "Is your brother into something? He got a girlfriend?"
