"ARE YOU SURE about that, Rex?" Jacob's reassuring question. He felt that Angeline did not want to talk about what happened in Santorini or anything to do with the king of vampires. But he wanted to hear it from her lips. To come to him and volunteer to talk about Mallory. He didn't mind at all, knowing that her heart belonged to him alone. He trusted her.

"Yes, boss. That's what she told during her conversation with Odette in the car. It was Carina who took her memory," the bodyguard confirmed. "They just got in the elevator."
