The Princess Vampire Escaped

ANGELINE gasped and opened her eyes. She looked awkwardly at the white four-walled room. Then she realized that everything that woke her up was just a dream. She was sleeping on the tiled floor where her left face was on the floor. Her ear was listening intensely, and she could hear the footsteps on her door outside.

She felt the heavy weight running on her chest. Jacob immediately filled her mind. She could not even admit it to herself, but she was frightened of the thought that her husband did not survive the battle since even if he were a werewolf, he would still be considered a mortal one.

Jacob... don't die. I can't handle it, she thought. She never asked her husband if he would be willing to be converted like her.

She realized it was the only way to make it survive ferocious facing enemies such as the wild barbaric groups of wolves, and the black magic of the witches, including the modern armaments.
