What Is My Play Style?

"W-who else know?" you can hear his voice sounding more desperate and uncertain. He looks at Jervin sitting on the chair with his eyes down, before regaining his attention at Kazuya.

"He wanted to keep it a secret, and since you would be the most affected he decided to tell only you."

Kazuya stood standing with his head now down, his thoughts kept rambling up in his head, many things relating to the situation kept coming to his mind and other different thoughts. He was feeling overwhelmed, and he wasn't sure what to do next. what answers is there now to find when there is no more question left to ask…

"I…I…can I… meet him?"

"If you do, you will miss the semi-final and perhaps even the finals!?"

"please…"

Jervin called for a private jet to take him back to Japan, he didn't want Momoi or Aomine or anyone to know him coming back so when he landed back at the airport he hid between a disguise, a black wig and blue baller cap.

and went immediately to the Takanawa hospital in tokyo and went to his room 308- floor3. When he stood right in front of the door he took a deep breath, he could smell the hospital smell, it didn't feel pleasant. Once he'd taken another deep breath, he knocked on the door and walked in.

He saw Tahiro sitting while watching from the window, the beautiful view of the street, how busy every person that walked in the street and the cars that could be somewhat heard up from here. He turned around to find Kazuya staring at him with eyes screaming with concern.

"Tahiro…"

"Kaz…"

Both of them remained silent until Tahiro opened his mouth, breaking the silence between them. "It's not your fault, Kaz. I chose this path, and I don't regret it…What are you even doing here? I didn't tell you to come the second you know about this…"

"Are you going to quit? What about my revenge?! was it all for naught?!"

Kazuya felt his heart racing and his stomach twisting in knots. He was overwhelmed with a mix of feelings, from sad to confusion to anger. He wanted to scream and cry and rage against the unfairness of it all. He wanted to tell Tahiro that he kept practicing in order to best him, to think that all of his hard work was for nothing.

"stop acting like a kid who didn't get what he wanted on christmas…Kazuya, who knows what will happen in the future, but let it be clear, I did what I had to do protecting that kid, I couldn't live with the consciousness that I could done something, so I acted out, this is what I got..."

Kazuya didn't want to talk anymore. He turned around abruptly and stormed out of the room, his fists clenched at his sides. He was so angry that he couldn't find the words to express it. He wanted to scream and shout, to let out all the emotions that were swirling inside him. But he couldn't find the words, so he stormed out, leaving Tahiro alone in the hospital room.

"Kazuya! Don't be a spoiled brat!" Tahiro shouted but Kazuya left before he could register anything, Tahiro could say.

After leaving he decided the park was a good place to calm down. he sat on the bench…

3 hours…

before his mind was completely free. He was about to leave until a group of kids similar to his age invited him to join their game. still feeling the anger and hurt from earlier he vent his anger out, and annihilated them…

He realized that while the situation with Tahiro was unfair, life had a way of teaching us lessons, and that life doesn't care what we lose but gain, Life seems sometimes like nothing more than a series of losses, from beginning to end. That's the given. How you respond to those losses, what you make of what's left, that's the part you have to make up as you go.

He let his worries drift away.

He arrived back at the private jet and returned to Florida, feeling exhausted and drained from the emotions of the day. But despite the turmoil and confusion he felt, Kazuya was determined to keep going and make something of what life had given him. He couldn't forget the old life giving him appreciation for it, now the 2nd chance at life he hopes he can make the best out of it.

The semis have been played and the final starts tomorrow, Kazuya's mind drifted to somewhere else, what are he going to do now that he lost a reason to play? Of course he wanted to go pro, play against strong players, but just one player has made Kazuya valued and treated him as Rival…

"Playing with friends is fine, but if there is no real goal, I don't see an improvement in my style."

Kazuya took steps…and stopped halfway. "What is my style? Now that I think about it, Everyone has a strength they are proud of, but I don't even know mine…"

I don't have anything special…that is their strength…sure I can do the same…but it doesn't feel special to me…Then…the only thing I can aim for it's to be an allrounder and a passer to see if it the right path, if not I just switch my style…

I see…if not strength I shall fight with because I don't really lack overall…then I need to use a different mindset and playstyle…

For instance, when my playstyle is like a selfish dribbler, I would try to outrun my opponents on the court and score solo. When I switched to a teamplayer, I focused on passing and helping my teammates to score. When I switched to a defender, I put my focus on stopping the other team from scoring. And when I switched to a vice-captain, I tried to motivate and lead my teammates to victory.

all different styles, that create a different me, is this the right choice? Who knows..?

Minutes of driving and he returned to his friend. What was his name? Kazuya forgot the guy with sunglasses and had a floridian name. ahh! Robert Smith, well he was already sleeping watching a movie with his girlfriend.

I guess tomorrow is his last time playing with everyone in this camp, school is soon starting and he got a place in one of those schools that has a very good basketball team.

Coming back to Japan with the Gom fighting against each other will be the middle section of my life. After that, who knows what happens when it's all over…?

Timothee Andre shooting guard, from france. he is matching Cory technically and has far better shooting skills than Sam, never once has I seen him miss without being marked properly.

Floyd Moore Center, from welsh. with his tall build he is matching Gin athleticism.

Castro Che, Philippian, small forward, he and Floyd have good teamwork together and they are helping in defense.

and then we have Victorino Lonzo, the super sub from Argentina. They're super special player, he got the skills that backed up for him, but he can only play 2 rounds before he is done. He has asthma and it's a shame such talent got that disease, but we need to give them us all.
