WOLFIE SENSE TINGLING

ECLAIRE might only be twenty years old, but her body was that of an old woman.

[I can't keep up with the kids.]

Rollercoaster.

Gyro swing.

Sky drop.

They had only been in the theme park for a few hours, and yet they had already tried some of the extreme rides that made Eclaire's almost pass out.

She was born weak, but she wasn't scared of heights.

Hence, she still enjoyed the rides.

[I'm already tired, though.]

But Yeri and Jaehyun weren't satisfied yet, so the two left to find more extreme rides.

Eclaire felt like her soul would leave her body if she rode another extreme ride, so she decided to let the kids enjoy the park on their own.

But there was still another kid left in her care, so she couldn't really rest.

Thankfully, Graham said he was fine with any ride. Hence, she dragged him to the carousel. It was the safest ride near them, and she didn't have the energy to look for another. So, she endured it even though it was a little embarrassing for a girl in her twenties to be riding a carousel.

[It's worth it, though.]

Seeing Graham's happy face, that was.

"Are you that happy, Graham?" Eclaire asked, smiling. "Your face is blinding."

Graham turned to her with sparkling eyes. "I love this ride, noona."

She could tell.

The horses they chose to ride on were next to each other. Hence, they were able to speak properly despite the noise around them.

"This kind of park doesn't exist in my world," Graham said, his smile getting a little sad now. "And it's not practical to have an attraction like this. After all, dungeons might appear at any time. If they appear in a place with a big crowd like this, then it will be too dangerous. Moreover, it will be hard for us to evacuate the citizens in that kind of situation."

Oh, right.

She remembered that it was the usual case in Graham's world.

That was exactly why the security in Polarise Academy– the school that he attended– was very strict with their security.

"Let's have fun as much as we can while you're here," Eclaire said. To be honest, her body was almost at its limit. But seeing Graham's smile gave her strength. "What do you want to ride next, Graham-ah?"

"That one," Graham said, pointing at the Ferris Wheel. "That looks fun."

"JAEHYUN-ah, we should go and look for unnie and Graham oppa," Yeri said. "It's getting late."

"Do you really like that hyung?" Jaehyun asked, obviously sulking. "You kept talking about him all day."

To be honest, she was conflicted.

It was cute to see Jaehyun getting jealous.

But, on the other hand, his words were a little cringe-y. She was just grateful that they decided to sit down on one of the benches in the park. Hence, no one could hear their conversation at the moment.

"Jaehyun-ah, are you jealous of Graham oppa?"

"Why do you keep calling him 'oppa?'"

"He's older than me," she said defensively. "What am I supposed to call him?"

"Call him 'ahjussi' then."

"He's not that old."

"Then 'Mr. Graham?'"

She wanted to argue that it sounded too formal.

However, she couldn't help but laugh.

[Jaehyun sounds silly when he's jealous!]

"Fine, laugh all you want," Jaehyun said, crossing his arms over his chest. "It seems like you really like that hyung."

Yeri turned serious. "Jaehyun-ah, do you like me?"

It looked like Jaehyun was ready to confess.

However, they were interrupted when her phone rang. The call came from someone she couldn't ignore. So, although she felt sorry for Jaehyun, she had to stop him from confessing.

"Mommy!" Yeri greeted her stepmother cheerfully, then she gasped. "Omo, really?"

[IT'S GETTING dark.]

Eclaire was worried when the sun had set, and Yeri and Jaehyun hadn't returned yet.

As of the moment, she was standing in line with Graham to ride the Ferris Wheel. It was one of the most popular rides in the park, hence the long line.

[Yeri-ya, why aren't you picking up my call?]

Even Jaehyun wasn't responding to her messages.

"Noona, they're nearby."

Eclaire turned to Graham. "You can tell?"

Graham smiled and pointed to his nose.

[Ah, he's saying that he can smell them.]

But since there were people who were standing close to them, he didn't say it aloud because it would obviously sound weird.

"Thanks for letting me know," she said, relieved.

However, her relief was short-lived.

As soon as she put her phone back in her sling bag, a stench so strong hit her nose and almost made her throw up on the spot.

[I know this smell…]

She turned to Graham for confirmation.

As soon as she saw the wolf boy clench his jaws, she realized that her hunch was correct.

[The Lycan is here!]

Eclaire immediately grabbed Graham's hand, obviously surprising him. "Let's run, Graham-ah."
