"THE PRESIDENT has already left, so can we talk now?"

Eclaire looked at Rekker Perkins with a sharp gaze.

Right now, the two of them were having tea in the lounge room of that huge bedroom.

Nathaniel Ystaughffe asked his servants to bring tea before leaving the room in order to give her and her "brother" some privacy.

[I'm not comfortable with the Crown Prince, so I'm glad he left.]

"First of all, I have a question," Eclaire said nervously. "Do we have the same mother?"

Rekker shook his head. "No. We have different mothers."

Okay, that made her nervous, but she tried not to show it. "Then how old are you now?"

"Nineteen," he said, knitting his eyebrows. "Why do you ask?"

Oh.

[He's the same age as Graham. Come to think of it, the book said Graham and Rekker have been classmates since they were toddlers.]

"You're a year younger than me," she said, letting out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness."
