SUMMON

"NOONA, welcome back!"

Eclaire smiled at Rekker's greeting when she got home. "You look happy, Rekker. Did something good happen?"

"Father allowed me to go with you in the subjugation mission," Rekker said, linking his arm with hers. "The official Summon from the royal family hasn't been released yet, but Father already got the king's approval."

Of course, the greedy king would allow Rekker to join the subjugation team because it was her request.

"I'm glad to hear that, but I'm also worried," she admitted. "I feel sorry that I have to bring you to a dangerous place when I'm not sure if I can protect you, Rekker. As your older sister, I should be the one protecting you. But in this case, I think I'm the one who has to depend on you."

After all, Rekker was a good fighter.

"It's alright, noona," Rekker said cheerfully. "I'm actually grateful that I was born strong." He turned to her and grinned. "Because it means I can protect you."
