THE LUNA'S PERSONAL MAID

REKKER felt awful.

He could tell that Meri was still upset with him. Their interaction since this morning had been minimal, and she was even faking her smile. She probably didn't want others to find out that they had a fight, but it hurt him to see her pretending to be okay.

[And she's even avoiding my eyes.]

That was what hurt him the most.

"Hon, if you're still mad at me, then just be mad at me instead of forcing yourself to smile," Rekker said after he was alone with Meri in her room. They were scheduled to visit the royal capital today, and he was supposed to bring her to her favorite shops. But he wanted to talk to her about their recent fight first. "Let's pick up where we left off last night."

They weren't able to make up with each other last night because Meri stormed off to her bedroom. He couldn't chase her because he didn't want his family members to hear about their fight.
