Brainwave's Assault

"Right, well then," Crashcourse said, stepping toward the two unconscious villains, "I'd wanted to keep one of them conscious, but safety wins out in the end. Good job everyone."

It was a shame that we hadn't managed to keep one of them awake, but now all we needed to do was tie them up and wait for their consciousness to return… all while hoping Wildthing wasn't in a scenario that was too dangerous. I didn't like the girl at all, but her death would have been a blow to the team considering she was one of our heaviest hitters.

"Now all we've got to do is figure out what they've done with Wildthing and our gear," Crashcourse said before throwing me a glance, "You got anything in that utility belt of yours that could wake up a beaten villain?"

I shook my head. "Uh, can't say that I do," I said, "But these two have got goons, right? Why don't we just hunt some of those down, they're probably watching over our gear and Wildthing is probably in the exact same place."
