"I have helped enough. The best thing and the only way I know to keep all of you safe is to disappear for good" Chike told her instead.

"What happened in that forest wasn't your fault, Chike. It is not your fault that my husband can't recognize me or our children. It's not your fault my children lost their father but it is your fault, they lost their uncle too plus you broke my best friend's heart. We are not friends, Chike. "How was school, girl?"

"I was given an essay to write" EJ answered.

"Do you need help, sweetheart?"

"No but thanks Mom"
