When Agens opened her eyes, they were met by darkness. And when she tried to sit, she bumped into something.
"Guys?" She said, hoping to get an answer.
She stretched her hands to the side as much as she could, but was stoped by some sort of a barricade. The wooden smell told her it was, whatever she was was touching, made out of wood. Her breath started to shorten as she tried to move.
She was trapped.
Her eyes started filling in with the tears as she hysterically screamed for help, knowing very well no one could hear her.
Roman woke up. He quickly realized he was stuck. Then he tried to break the top of this wooden box, but even with his strength it wasn't easy.
Oliver woke up last. When he realized he's trapped he just closed his eyes again. There was no way out. He knew that, and so, he didn't even try.
As was Agnes weeping and moving her hands around as much as she could, she felt something beside her. She shrieked from surprise, but then touched it again to see what it is. The classic shape, she could recognize anywhere. She was holding a gun.
Roman pounded on the wooden ceiling and when he right about to give up, he heard a crack. It was working. That gave him a shread of hope he needed to continue.
Agens remembered the lady. She gave each of them a gun. Was one always there? Did nobody else noticed?
"If I miss, I still die, as long as I shoot, right?" She said into the void.
When Roman broke apart the coffin, some of the earth sipped through the crack, fell in to his eyes, making him close them, and so he proceeded to try and reach for floor. The earth was mashed together, which made it harder for him to proceed, but breaking through was easier than breaking the wood. Slowly but surely he reached the surface.
Agens slowly placed her finger on the trigger.
Oliver fell asleep.
Roman stood up and looked around himself. He was standing in an old cemetery. The two graves beside his were those of Agnes and Oliver. He was the first one to get out, and something was telling him to act fast. There was a shead near and he ran to it. Inside it, he found some gardening tools and a shovel, that he than carried back to the graves.
He quickly started removing all the soil from Agnes's grave. The work was hard, yet he didn't stop for a single second. The adrenaline rushing through his veins helped him to remove enough earth in a record time. He then took a knife and started carefully carving out the top of the coffin.
Agnes heard something. Right above her, she could hear something. That stoped her. He laid down the gun and waited for not even a minute, when she saw a but of light shining through the cracks. And then someone removed a pice of the coffin right above her. The bright light made her close her eyes for a second and when she opened them again, there he was. Roman was standing right above her and she could see beneath him.
"Well this is awkward," he tried to lighten up the mood.
"Get me out," Agnes said without thinking twice about it.
And so, though some trial and error she was out.
Roman picked up the shovel again, and removed the earth from Oliver's grave. Agnes just stood there, still in shock.
When all the three of them were out, each grave lit up and switched to a screen. And there she was. The lady appeared.
"This scenario was called: What if you were buried alive? I can certainly say this one was a close call, right Agnes?" the lady said and then the trio droped unconscious on the ground.
