Jay is in his old room at his parents house. He's trying to get his thoughts in order and practice telling Suzu that he is actually a superhero. He doesn't want to tell her about his dad and brother, but it's only a matter of time before she finds out about them anyway.
He sighs and looks out his window to see Mark come crashing down and making a crater in the backyard.
Jay shakes his head. Only a matter of time.
"Mark!"
Jay hears his mom shout and walk into the backyard.
Debbie heard the crashing sound and assumed it to be her newly suped up son. She turns to her right and sees that there is a new crater in the yard.
"Ugh" Mark pulls himself out of the hole in the ground that he made.
"What the hell was that?!" Debbie asks. She isn't very pleased that he made a hole in their yard, but at least she has three super strong boys to fill it in later.
Mark walks away from the hole he made. "Oh, ugh. Practicing my landings. I've been trying all day….. after school all day" He corrects himself.
"Ok. Yeah, I see that now" She says annoyed.
Mark runs the back of his head as he stands in front of his mom. "Sorry about the yard" He sincerely apologizes.
"What are you doing?" Debbie asks.
Mark points towards the hole in the ground. "I need practice mom. I can't land well" He shrugs his shoulders and brings his hands up to his waist while keeping his elbows at his sides. "I can't fly all that fast. I need to be better" He stresses.
Debbie folds her arms across her chest. "Mark. You need to sleep"
Mark looks seriously at his mom. "I need to practice" He challenges.
"Honey! It's the middle of the night! I have work tomorrow. You have school. Get inside right now!" Debbie puts her foot down and is in serious mom mode.
Mark looks down at his mom. "Make me"
Debbie narrows her eyes at her son. "Does that make you feel strong? To know that I can't physically make you do something. Is that what you need?"
Mark looks down at the ground and sighs. "Haaah… this is important"
Debbie realizes something and turns around. "Remember when you were little and we talked almost every night before you went to bed? You'd tell me about whatever 'jerk' made fun of your hair, and I'd tell you about all the 'girl drama' I lived through so you'd feel better?"
She sits on the porch steps that lead to the yard. "I can't talk to you while we soar through the clouds but…." She looks at her son who walks over to sit next to her. "….but I'm still here"
Mark sits down next to his mom and puts his elbows on his thighs.
"It used to be you and me and this crazy world saving superhero father of yours with your brother getting bounced in between. But now it's you and your father…." Debbie sadly says her true feelings. She misses the time she spends with her sons. And she actually loved when Jay brought Suzu over. It had been a while since it was just them and not talking about superhero stuff. It was really really great.
"…. and your boring old normal mom" She somberly says.
"Mom~" Mark doesn't like hearing her say that.
Debbie smiles helplessly at her son. "It's ok sweetheart. I get it. You have to move away from the normal life with me…. and get used to being…. something more. Like your brother and dad"
"You see…" Mark puts his fingertips of his right hand on his forehead. "…that's what I'm worried about. I'm nothing like Jay or dad. I'm more like you" He drops his hand to his knee. "I'm nothing special" He sadly says as he looks at the ground.
"Oh Ho Ho~" Debbie laughs in a mock hurt tone. "Like a 'knife' to the heart with this one!"
Mark looks at his mom. "You know what I mean! After everything they've done, how can I possibly…. live up to all that. Especially dad when Jay hasn't even done that yet?" He stresses.
"Who says you have to? You don't have to be the greatest Omni-Man ever" Debbie looks into her sons eyes. "You just have to be the greatest you"
Mark looks to the side. "And what if the greatest me isn't enough?"
Debbie lovingly looks at her youngest son. "Mark you stupid boy. How could the greatest you not be enough?"
Mark smiles. "Thank you" He sits up. "I love my boring, powerless, everyday, run-of-the-mill, mom!" He jokingly says.
Debbie bumps mark with his shoulder as she leans on him. "Hey~! And I love, my asshole son"
They both look up at the stars for a while.
"Do you remember Jay when he first got his powers?" Debbie asks.
Mark looks at the moon. "Yeah, how could I not?"
"Did you know how hard it was for him growing up? He was still so young when he got them. And they got stronger as he grew up. Got harder to control as he grew up" Debbie reminds her son.
Mark closes his eyes. "Yeah, sort of. I think I understand it better now"
"Mark, honey. I don't think you do. Imagine being younger with your powers. Trying to always keep yourself in check. If you got too angry at your brother or mom, or that bully who picks on you. And you slip for even a second. You can end their life without even realizing it" Debbie sadly says like she is telling a story.
Mark looks at his mom "You mean…"
"Jay isn't as great as you think he is. He isn't this brother that sits on his pedestal above you. He doesn't know everything. He can't be in multiple places at once" Debbie looks at the night sky and all the stars. "He struggled, and still struggles to this day. He has worries"
Debbie sighs and looks at the bright, big, moon. "He isn't great. He's like you, Mark. Amazing. And you both can do amazing things"
"Jay didn't just become Eternal. It took him years. Years of practicing, not with dad and alone. He struggled with flying and landing. Struggled with Omni-Mans shadow. And he came out of it to become the person he is. He didn't cheat his way there. He worked for it" Debbie sighs. "I may not be able to help you with all the superhero stuff. But your brother might have some good advice. And if he was able to become an amazing superhero. I know you can too Mark. Both of my kids can become the greatest heroes ever"
Mark smiles. "Thanks mom, thank you"
Mark and Debbie watch the night sky for a while longer in silence.
Jay was listening from his window. He's glad that Mark is sensible and still listens to mom. He wouldn't know what to do if Mark had continued to challenge and defy her. If Debbie couldn't talk sense into Mark, what could Jay do? Talk some sense into him as he slaps him around through the sky? Maybe some brotherly quarrel would be needed. Before dad set his foot down that is.
Jay knows what he will tell Suzu tomorrow so he goes to his bed and lays down. He's just glad that Suzu hadn't upgraded her houses alarm system to the max. They would get so busted.
——————
It's the next morning and Mark is flying high in the sky with Nolan.
Nolan looks at his son. "You seem tired"
"I'm fine….Just got a lot on my mind… I guess" Mark says.
They weren't facing eachother. In fact, their backs were. And they each had a baseball glove on.
*thump*
Nolan just caught a baseball. "Oh yeah?" He takes the baseball from his glove. "So, what is it?" He throws the baseball hard into the distance.
Mark holds up his glove. "You're just going to keep prying if I'm evasive at all. Sooo….. Uhm. I'm scared dad. What if I can't do this?" He admits. It was a large hurdle to jump.
*whoooosh*
The sound of something flying through the air gets louder, signifying it's getting closer.
Mark anxiously looks ahead.
Nolan turns to his son. "You hear it?"
"I do" Mark blinks and gets ready.
"Get ready~" Nolan warns.
The baseball Nolan threw in the opposite direction comes crashing into Mark's glove and knocks him back in the air a little.
"We're you nervous?" Nolan asks.
"A little" Mark admits as he holds the ball in his glove.
"But you caught it" Nolan says.
Mark turns his head to look at his dad. "I did"
"Being a superhero is no different" Nolan flies towards his son with his hands behind his back. "This is the beginning of a long journey for you and me….and maybe Jayden" Nolan puts his fist in his baseball glove. "Along the way, you're gonna need to do things you don't want to do. Or might not think you can do. It's ok to be scared. It's natural to doubt yourself. But if you can push through that, and do what needs to be done. You'll do just fine. You think you can do that Mark?"
Mark looks up as he thinks about it. "Yeah" He takes the baseball from his glove and smiles as he turns around. "Uhngh!"
Mark throws the ball hard. It nearly misses a plane, and it goes past some skyscrapers. It clips a snowy mountain along its path. And continues on until Nolan catches it without a problem.
Nolan lowers his glove with the ball in it. "Son…"
He turns to face his youngest son. "…. Kiss your age think they're invincible. And it holds them back. It makes them careless" He flies to his son. "But the thing is…" He takes the baseball from his glove. "…your different" the ball smokes and sizzles. "YOU actually are…" Nolan holds the ball out for Mark to take. "…invincible"
Mark takes the baseball and smiles at it. Then his face changes when he hears the words 'invincible' again.

Mark rushes down the steps to Art's secret superhero suit shop.
Mark breathes heavily as he looks at Art down below. "Got it!"
Art smiles. "Ok kid. Let's get to work"
——————
Mark flies through the city and sky as he wears his new suit. It's black with blue and yellow. And it has goggles as well. It also covers his forehead. But leaves his hair and his face below his eyes uncovered. He also went for the fingerless-gloves style.
He just enjoys flying through the sky and feeling the air in his hair. The feeling is exhilarating. Combined with the fact he has his own superhero suit is great.
He does some flips and other stunts. And even flies behind some seagulls.
*Bzzzzt!* *BOOM!!!*
A laser just went through a few buildings and skyscrapers and caused some explosions.
Mark gets startled and his flying shakes a little but he stabilizes himself in the next second. "Crap!"
He drops towards the ground to build up speed and then takes off towards where the laser came from.
——————
In the city is a man with a laser gun attached to his arm with a device on his back. He also is wearing a villain suit. The gun is on his left arm while his right is uncovered.
The police start shooting Laser-Dude with their little pistol that just bounce off of him.
"You guys think you might have bitten off more than you can chew?!" Laser-Dude asks, he points towards where he just shot his laser. "That building over there now has a hole in it!"
*pew* *pop* *pop* *pew*
The police continue firing like they are actually going to stop Laser-Dude.
Laser-Dude holds out his laser gun arm towards the police and it charges up a red light in its barrel.
*Whhhhrrrrrzzzzzt!* *Zzzzeeewwwww!*
"Shit!" An officer shouts as he dives out of the way.
The laser hits a police car and causes it to explode.
The officer that dove outta the way hits the pavement hard…. with his face…. after doing an unintentional front flip through the air as he was blasted away by the explosion.
The rest of the police continue shooting, completely ignoring the fact they are doing nothing to the dude. Not even tickling him with their bullets.
Laser-Dude smirks and charges his laser gun up again.
But just as it's about to fire he gets punched hard on his chin. It even cracks his red visor.
"Ooogghhhhh!" Laser-Dude groans.
*thump!* "ugh!" *thump!* "ugh!" *thump!* "ugh!" *thump!* "ugh!" *thump!* "ugh!" *thump!* "ugh!"
Laser-Dude gets sent through the walls of an entire building and only stops after he skids along the pavement on the other side of the building.
Mark flies through the holes he made. "Oh!" He says worried. He looks to see if anyone was hurt. "All clear?" He flies through the rest of the building. "Whew!"
Police sirens can be heard in the distance as Laser-Dude gets up and looks around confused at what just happened. "Huh? What happened?"
"Oooof!" Laser-Dude gets hit in the face again by Mark before he could even see him.
Laser-Dude skips off the street a few times and Mark flies at him and doesn't let him get a break as he punches the dude again. And again. And again. Before he grabs him and swings in a circle before throwing him into the side of a building which he bounces off of.
Mark continues flying after Laser-Dude, but Jay flies to the street below and moves a families car before they got crushed by the falling debris.
Jay doesn't say anything as he follows after Mark high up in the sky.
Mark plants his feet on the ground to stop himself as he faces Laser-Dude.
The dude skids to a halt on his side. He can't even get up as Mark then flies over him. "Huh? Who?" Laser-Dude asks with the many conclusions he just received.
Mark flies in the air. "You might as well give up. I'm-"
"Just say your name already!" Jay shouts.
Mark looks up confused.
"Eternal?" Laser-Dude says in a scared voice.
"I was getting there man!" Mark shouts at Jay who just ruined his big moment.
"I'm- INVINCIBLE!" Mark proudly states.
Jay flies down next to Mark.
"Good job Invincible…" Jay says.
Mark smiles smugly.
Jay gets up in his face and whispers. "…at nearly flattening a building and killing a family in a car you dumbass. Be more aware of your surroundings. You could have just punched him into the ground and hit him 5 more times with your strength to knock him out. Don't make things drag on when dealing with villains. This isn't the comics. Real lives are at stake"
Mark's eyes widen. He wanted to refute. But he looks back down the street and sees the torn up cement, the debris from the building on the sidewalk and in the street. "I-I didn't mea-"
"I know" Jay says. And moves away a bit. "Just learn from it alright? Me and Omni-Man aren't always gonna be cleaning up after you. Just learn from this. Good job in taking him out though. Go take him to the police" Jay then flies away to let Mark get used to turning in the criminals.
——————
Jay was in his convertible outside Suzu's house. She had texted him that she would be working later than she expected and would be free at night.
So Jay just went around and did some hero work. He had an easy day as counselor. And had hung out with Meri in her classroom.
They talked about books, students, other teachers and staff members. It was pleasant. Jay enjoyed talking about the school and about themselves. He didn't know that Meri had a younger sister.
Jay eventually had to leave when he got paged about a student being pulled to the top of a flag pole.
He apologized to Meri and ran out. "Sorry, I have to go stop a student from being scarred for the rest of his life. Physically and emotionally"
You don't just recover from being pulled up a flag pole by your underwear in a day. It'll take many years of therapy to get over that one. The physical injuries will heal much faster.
Jay saved the kid, punished the kid that did it. And then went to his own house and got his hero costume. One of them at least. He had a few in different locations just in case. And he had two at his old house.
Then he went patrolling, and that's how he found Mark being reckless. He held back on completely embarrassing him in front of the entire city. It wasn't like that Laser-Dude even posed a threat to Mark. Mark just got caught up in the moment.
Jay found it hard not to just tell Mark off. But he held back and told him that he did an ok job in defeating the villain. Nor lived could have been lost if Mark hadn't stepped in when he did.
Of course Jay would have stopped him before it came to that though. It's just that Jay wasn't there in time to stop Mark from tossing Laser-Dude around like a sack of potatoes until the end basically.
Jay sighs. "He thinks this is still a game or something" he mutters to himself.
Then Suzu's car pulls into her driveway. Jay hadn't even noticed he was so caught up in his own thoughts.
Her garage opens and she drives in. She gets out of the car and waves Jay in. "Are you just going to stare or are you going to come in and talk?"
Jay was just admiring her pencil skirt, dress shirt, and blazer. Her hair looks great as well. "One second!"
Jay hops out of his car and walks up to her in her garage. "I was just distracted by your beauty" He charmingly says.
"Sure, you airhead" she lightly pulls on his collar and gives him a kiss. "Let's go inside. I'm exhausted from work today"
"After you" Jay motions for her towards the door.
They both go inside and Suzu closes her garage.
"Did you eat?" Jay asks.
Suzu sits down at the kitchen bar. "No, I had lunch today though" She tiredly says.
Jay walks into her kitchen and finds an apron and puts it on. "Then allow me to cook for you"
Jay opens her fridge and gets to it. He is used to cooking for himself after a few years of 'living alone'. He also might have dated a chef or two…. or five. He knew how to cook decently well.
Suzu lays her head on her arms. "You can cook now?"
"Yes, and fairly well" He confidently says as he turns the stove on.
Jay proceeds to cook, and he chats with Suzu who relaxes from a long day.
He finishes cooking and serves Suzu.
She was amazed that he could make something this good. He could barely make Mac'n cheese before.
She finishes eating while Jay cleans up after himself. He even washes the dishes he used.
"Wow, guess you really are all grown up now. You even did the dishes" Suzu slyly says.
"Ha-ha. Very funny Ms. 'Let them pile up until they need to be cleaned'. I remember you dreading dishes" Jay states.
"What kid and teenager actually 'liked' doing the dishes?" Suzu asks.
"Fair point" Jay shrugs, then looks at Suzu in her golden eyes. "I know your tired, so do you wanna have our talk quick? Or procrastinate a while longer?" He seriously asks.
"As much as I would like to procrastinate, I think I'd rather just get this over with. I hate suspense" Suzu says as she gets up and walks to the living room.
Jay walks to the living room behind Suzu.
They both sit down in chairs and look at eachother.
Suzu was sitting with her legs together and her back against the back of her chair as she sat up tall.
Jay sat with his legs shoulder width apart and his elbows on his knees. His hands clasped together and his chin resting on his hands as he leaned forward.
Suzu takes a deep breath in and exhales slowly. "Jayden" She deeply looks into his eyes. "MTC is a technology company. But that's not all we do. And it's not just basic technology"
Jay nods signifying he's following her so far.
"We have advanced alien tech that we have studied. And we were even able to reverse engineer it. As well as advance it further. There is too much to just explain to you. But one of the things MTC has done is supply GDA with some of not most of their technology" Suzu says calmly and flatly.
Jay raises an eyebrow. "Wait, that was you guys?"
Suzu looks at Jay curiously. "You know about the GDA?"
Jay nods. "Yeah, but MTC is the one being a main supplier to them?" Jay asks. But he sees Suzu looking at him weirdly. "Oh! I'll explain why I know them when it's my turn. Keep going"
Suzu exhales loudly. "Haaaah…. Jesus Jay…. Fine, but there isn't much else to tell…." She thinks for a bit. "…. I guess I'll tell you a personal project I've been working on" Suzu looks at Jay's calm expression and body language. She expected him to much more surprised, or anything besides calm.
"I've been working on a suit of sorts. That I would use or sell to certain people to allow them to fight on par with the hero's against the villains. I'm still working on it. And I might just keep it for myself if it's too dangerous to hand out. Kinda like that comic we used to read, 'Boy-Steel'. Do you remember that one?" Suzu explains and smiles slightly when she remembers going over to Jay's house after school and reading comics with him.
"Do I remember? I still have those comics!" Jay stands up and walks over to Suzu. He takes a breath to calm himself down. He puts his hands on her chairs armrests and leans down to look into her eyes. She doesn't flinch or lean back at all.
Jay calmly asks. "Do you wanna be a superhero? Do you plan on joining the Gusrdians of the Globe? Who else have you told? How strong have you made the suit so far? I don't doubt you can make it. You were a genius…" He smiles. "…..are a genius". He looks at her golden eyes as they move over his face and study him. "I support you in whatever your decision is Suzy. I don't think I'd believe anyone else if they told me they could make a suit of advanced armor. Did you design it to look cool?"
Suzu chuckles slightly. "Did I design it to look cool? That's what you're worried about?"
Jay shakes his head. "That's not 'all' I'm worried about" He gets in front of her face. "I want to make sure you will be safe. That's why I asked if your joining the Guardians of the Globe. You said you work with the Global Defense Agency so I don't doubt you have a lack of safety. Or supply them or whatever. You get my point. And seriously, do you wanna be a superheroine? Because that's kinda…."
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
Jay looks down at his left wrist where his watch is blinking red.
Suzu also looks at it. "That thing again?" She looks up at Jay annoyed. "Let me guess, you have to leave immediately?" She folds her arms under her bust.
Jay stands up and shuts the watch off. "No"
He lets his holds his arms behind his back. Suzy stares daggers at him, clearly hating that damned watch of his. It was a sign that he would leave soon after.
"If it's important they will call me" Jay says. He walks to her fireplace mantle where pictures of her are in frames.
There are pictures of her as a kid with her parents. And also just a picture of her parents holding eachother. It looked like they just got done with a big important meeting.
"Im sick and tired of just going through the motions Suzu. I'm prepared to change everything if I can have you and actually live for once. There are only a few moments I feel like I'm not just pretending to be normal. And it's with you that I don't have to pretend…. most of the time" He lets his fingers rest on the mantle. "Do you seriously want to be a super heroine? Would you be like Dark Wing with just a few extra gadgets and a brilliant mind?"
Suzu looks at Jay. She can tell he is being honest and sincere. The tone in his voice is exhausted like he's finally letting something go that he's been holding onto for years.
"I was considering it. I only have an unfinished prototype at the moment. I had this idea since we were kids. But I've only recently decided to act on it. It may sound childish, but I don't think it is. I want to protect the world Jay. I see innocent people die a get hurt by the Lizard League. The fucking Lizard League Jay. And they're jokes, not even like aliens or the Subterraneans. Or people like the Immortal, War Woman, Omni-Man, Eternal…. What if they turn evil? What if they get brain controlled or something? What do we do then? Rely on Teen Team? Fight Force? Fight Force got their asses kicked by the Lizard League a year ago. I don't think they can stop a real threat Jay. But if I can help, I want to" Suzu seriously explains her thoughts. She doesn't move, but she grips her arms tightly as she explains.
"Suzy…." Jay takes a step towards her but stops himself. "I think you can…no…. should do it. But do it seriously. Even more serious than you are about doing it now. I don't care if I don't see you for months at a time, as long as you make that suit of yours as safe, strong, and durable as possible. I can handle some time away from you if it means you accomplishing a dream of yours and helping protect the world while your at it….. Even if it scares the shit outta me thinking about you running into danger with only a suit to protect a normal human like you…"
"What?" Suzu was going on a rollercoaster of emotions. She keeps noticing Jay say some weird shit at times.
Jay shakes his head. "Just know that I support you. Alright? I can't wait to see you in the news. Do you plan on hiding your face or are you gonna pull a big reveal like…"
Jay stands up tall and pretends to be giving a speech. "…. I am Boy-Steel" He copies the famous scene from the comics of Boy-Steel telling the world that he is the superhero in his real identity.
"I-I haven't thought that far ahead. I technically was still deciding if I want to use the suit myself" She admits.
Jay goes and kneels next to her. "Whatever you decide, I'll be here for you. Or close by. I'll support you however you want me to, whatever I can do"
"Jay…" Suzu smiles. "I'll do whatever I can for you too. I'll make time for us. It's probably time I hire people to overlook things at the company anyways. That way I can focus on us. And then when I actually make my suit…. I can make one for you too? I know you always liked theheros and comics. Maybe we could be a crime fighting couple?" Suzu asks.
Jay smiles. "You mean like Green-Bow and Gray-Bird? Or Dark Wing and Feline-Woman? I know those two technically aren't together, but I've seen them... you know what? I think you and I get the point" He stands up. "I would love that. But…"
Suzu feels her heart twist slightly. "But what?"
"But…." Jay steps back and takes a deep breath. "…. I don't think I'll need the suit"
Jay floats off the ground.
Suzu immediately leans forward in her seat with wide eyes. "What the fuck?!"
Jay rises into the air a bit more and does a spin.
"Haha… surprise?" He nervously laughs. "This is what I was going to tell you Suzu. I'm actually already a superhero. I don't have a team, but I'm close with the Guardians and the GDA. I actually know Cecil"
He lands on the ground gently.
Suzu is stunned as she looks at Jay with wide eyes. A few of her bangs fall over her left side.
"That's why I couldn't spend more time with you Suzy. Back in highschool I was training my powers. I didn't want to hurt you accidentally. And then there was the whole 'dating' fiasco. I didn't want to date you and hurt you by constantly leaving randomly or not showing up or being late. Everything is because I couldn't find the balance between superhero and normal life" Jay looks sadly at the ground. "And I still ended up hurting you… I'm sorry it took so long"
Jay rocks between his left and right feet. "But this is the truth. I'm a superhero. That's also why I was gone for those weeks. I was actually dealing with the Subterraneans"
"This makes so much sense" Suzu say to herself. She sits up and closes her eyes as she holds her chin in her left hand. "This makes everything make sense"
Jay watches as Suzu puts the new pieces into the puzzle and finishes it.
She looks at Jay. "Why would you… why would you stay away from me even with this?"
Jay has a neutral expression on his face. "Because. I didn't want to tell you…. But not just you. Anyone, I didn't want to tell anyone. Only my family knows. Well, and Cecil. But that's basically it. I wanted to tell you. So bad, so many times. You were just there, and I wanted to tell you. But I didn't want to mess our friendship up. I was selfish. You were the only one outside my family I could actually be myself around. I didn't need to pretend like I do with others. It felt natural, and amazing just talking with you. But then I would have to leave and be a hero and leave you behind. And that's not including the part where I couldn't control my powers as they grew stronger. So I needed to spend more time training so I don't accidentally hurt you or anyone else. I was an idiot. And when you confessed to me… I decided that I would deal with whatever consequences come my way. As long as I have you, I can deal with anything"
Suzu stands up while she glares at Jay. She walks up to him. "You absolute…"
She puts her arms around his neck and kisses him.
Jay blinks. He then wraps his arms around Suzu's back.
Suzu breaks the kiss and looks at Jay. "…fool"
"I'm getting some mixed signals here" Jay smiles. "And I'm a counselor who deals with hormonal teenagers a lot. And I can't tell if your happy or pissed. But my gut is telling me a bit of both"
"You've got some good intuition" Suzu taps his chest to let him know to let her go.
She takes a step back and thinks. "Your watch beeped. Isn't that important?"
Jay shrugs. "Maybe. But if Cecil really needed me he would have called repeatedly" He looks lovingly at Suzu. "And this was important too"
"So what are your powers?" She asks, barely hiding her excitement.
Jay smirks. "Aside from flying? I have almost the entire package. Super speed, strength, senses, durability, stamina. The whole schabang"
"Really!? Isnt that like, cheating? How strong are you? Like, compared to Omni-Man?" Suzu asks.
"Ah, about that" Jay scratches his hair. "I'm probably right behind him in that regard. Very close in fact. Actually, I didn't plan on telling you this part but I guess I have to"
"What is it?" Suzu curiously asks.
Jay looks at Suzu's golden eyes and her hair hanging over her face. "It's about my dad, my brother, and I" He brushes her hair behind her ear. "My dad's Omni-man. And my brother also just got his powers recently"
Suzu was about to ask a question, but Jay stops her.
"Ah! Please save your questions for the end please" Jay picks her up and flies her back to her chair. He also turns the chair next to her so they face eachother.
He sits down and looks at her. "My family is a bit weird. Or I guess I am"
He breathes deeply and exhales slowly. "My mom is a normal human, like you. But my dad is an alien from a planet extremely far away. Like, ridiculously far away. And Mark is half human and half alien"
Suzu realizes what this means "But your parents didn't meet unt-"
"Until after I was already born" Jay nods. "I have kept it to myself. And it's like my family ignores it. I don't know if I'm part human, or just an alien. I'm leaning towards the full alien part, but I just don't know. Because I do somewhat look like my mom. And I clearly look like my dad so I know I'm at least my dads kid. But my mom? Ive had suspicions since I was old enough to understand such complicated things"
"Jayden, this is serious. Why haven't you asked them?" Suzu asks.
"Because… What if, everything I know… or pretend to know… turns out ton of be true. My mom has raised me like I'm her own child" Jay exhales.
"That's because you are her child, Jay. She's the one who tucked you in at night. The one who drove you to baseball practice. She's the person who did everything a mom does for you. She is your real mom" Suzu puts her hands over his.
"I know that Suzu. And that's why I haven't brought it up. But at the end of the day I guess it doesn't matter. Because my family is my family. I'm just trying to let you know I'm not fully human, or human at all" Jay smiles at Suzu.
"You are you Jay. Unless you turn out to be some grey, three eyes, short, three-fingered, bug-eyes, alien. I still love you" Suzu tightly holds his hands.
Jay laughs. "Haha…. Luckily shapeshifting or illusions are not part of my powers. This is the me you're stuck with"
"Oh darn. Guess I'm stuck with your muscles and thick skull" Suzu jokes.
"Yep, your stuck with all of me" Jay picks her up princess style and floats in the air.
"Warning!" Suzu shouts as she feels nothing beneath her. She wraps her arms around Jay tightly. "A little warning next time ok…" She quietly says.
"Yes ma'am. Now let's get you to bed" He flies to the second floor and to her room.
"How am I supposed to go to bed after that?" Suzu rhetorically asks.
"You'll find a way, want me to stay until you do?" Jay asks as he gets to her door.
"You might want to check in with Cecil or the Guardians though. Just in case it was actually important" Suzu says as she is set down on her feet.
"If you're sure. Oh, and my dad is a Viltrumite by the way. That's what his race is called. I'll use your window to exit if that's alright" Jay walks in behind her into her room.
"And what if I say no?" Suzu folds her arms across her chest.
"I don't know? Make you say yes?" He jokingly says.
"Oh yeah? How would you do that?" Suzu doesn't move as Jay shuts her door and walks up to her. She's by her giant bed.
"I'll just show you" Jay says as he grabs her by her shoulders and kisses her.
Suzu can feel his firm grip on her shoulders. Not enough to hurt, but enough for her to be unable to get away.
Jay slowly pushed her down to the bed. He makes himself float above her as he roughly kisses her and they explore eachother's mouths with their tongues.
Jay runs his right hand through her silky white hair. His left keeping her pinned down.
After a minute he picks her up and moves her to her wall next to her closet. He pins her against the wall as they continue to kiss.
Jay feels his worries slip away. His love for Suzu is making everything else in the world fly to the wind.
He then grabs her hands and pins them over her head and picks her up with his other arm as he floats up into the air.
He can tell that Suzu was shocked and worried about falling. But he wouldn't let her, so he kept kissing her.
This was unlike any other kiss he had ever had. Every kiss he had with Suzu was the best and trumped any other kiss he ever had.
After some time goes by he moves away from the wall and Suzu has to wrap her legs around his waist or else she would be dangling by her arms and only Jay's one arm.
Jay continues to kiss her deeply as he floats back towards her bed and slowly lowers down towards it.
And when he's only two feet above it he drops down. Jay falls so that Suzu is on her back and Jay is on top of her.
He breaks the kiss off and wipes his lips with the back of his hand as he stays over Suzu. "Can I go? Because if I stay I don't think I can hold back much more"
Suzu has a deep blush on her face and her golden eyes look bright as her white hair is scattered around her on the bed. She breathes heavily as she catches her breath. "...hah… y-you have to go?"
Jay's eyes widen for a second before getting serious. "Fuck, not if you ask like that" Jay leans down to kiss her again.
Just as he's about to kiss her he feels a finger on his lips.
He opens his eyes to see Suzu smirking at him with her serious face. But the blush is still very present. "We still have work tomorrow. And…." She looks to the side. "….It would be my first time"
Jay smiles. "We don't have to do it. I can just fall asleep next to you and that would be enough for me tonight…. barely enough"
Suzu smiles. "Ok… And I want my first to be special"
"When you're ready, I'll make sure it's more than special" Jay says as he floats into the air and releases her. "I will say, I sleep in my underwear"
Suzu gets up and walks to her closet. "And I will say, I don't" She closes her closet door behind her.
Jay floats upside down and moves across her room as he takes his shirt off. He looks at his watch. "They don't need me for one more night". And he takes it off.
Jay then takes his pants off, still upside down. But leaves his underwear on. His socks also come off. He doesn't know how people can sleep with them on unless they cold.
He looks out the window as he stays upside down. He things go smoothly from here on out. Suzu accepts that he is not only a superhero, but also an alien. And he finds out that she herself wants to get into the action.
And that scares the hell out of him. The things he has seen when things get rough. He just hopes she will be prepared enough.
No.
He will make sure she is prepared enough.
"What are you doing Jayden?"
Jay turns around and sees an upside down Suzu in short shorts and a baggy tshirt. And her hair is a bit messy but only makes her look all the more alluring.
"What does it look like? I'm floating upside down" Jay says as he turns upright and lands on the ground.
Suzu looks at Jay in only his underwear. Seeing his muscles under a shirt and seeing them without a shirt were two very different things. She wanted to run her fingers across all of his muscles. Like she was drawing them. There weren't any scars or anything that you would think a hero would have.
He walks to the bed. "Tired?"
"N-yes. Not really, but I should get some sleep" Suzu says as she looks away from Jay's torso.
"I'm glad that you found my eyes" Jay smugly says as he moves the covers and climbs in.
"It's not my fault your body is so hot" Suzu says as she climbs in from the other side. "How are we going to sleep she asks as she gets closer to Jay.
"Whichever way you want Suzu" Jay lays down on his side.
Suzu blushes. "Do you want to hold me?"
Jay moves directly to her and she then rolls so that her back is facing Jay. "Spooning? I like that"
He wraps his arm over Suzu and slides his other arm under a pillow. He moves directly behind her so that his chest is touching her back.
Suzu is madly blushing at this point. She holds Jay's arm that is over her stomach. And she feels how warm he is. Then she feels something growing. "Jay…" She breathes out as it presses against her.
"I can't help it. Just ignore it ok?" Jay holds her tightly. Her head rests against his chest and he has another pillow for his head. "I love you"
Suzu nearly shudders when she hears those words and feels his hot breath against her ear. "I love you too"

It's early morning and Jay wakes up with Suzu.
Jay puts his clothes on and gets dressed. He kisses Suzu good morning, and good bye as he leaves from her window.
"Wait!" Suzu shouts and leans out her window. "What's your hero name?!"
Jay turns to face his childhood friend, and now girfriend.
He winks and smiles at her. "My name is-"
