"It's rude to attack someone while they're talking." The man said as he walked back into the smithy while dusting himself off.
Jayce was surprised that he was still standing after taking a direct hit to the chest. But he quickly realized why as he stared at a dagger the man was holding in his left hand.
The middle part of the dagger was bent inward, taking the brunt of Jayce's kick.
"You must be the brat who's throwing his money around." He said as he threw the dagger onto the floor.
"I am" Jayce replied with his guard still up.
'There's no point in hiding since it seems they already know. That's probably why they haven't charged me yet.' Jayce thought to himself as he inspected who he thought was the leader of the group.

After inspecting him, Jayce inspected the other gangsters with his skill.
'Luis is the strongest of the bunch, I can deal with the others but if he joins them, I'll probably die unless I use Synchro.' Jayce thought as he focused his attention back on Luis.
"So, why are you looking for me?" Jayce asked as he lowered his hands away from his face.
Luis smirked as he walked toward Jayce, "How could I not after hearing about your generous donation to that shitty dwarf. But it seems like you forgot about one teensy, tiny, little thing."
"What would that be?" Jayce responded as the gangster moved his face right next to his.
"We own these parts around here, any transactions must go through us first, especially the large ones." The gangster said as he rubbed his thumb against his finger.
Intense pressure released from Luis as he stared into Jayce's eyes.
'Is this because of his intimidation skill?' Even with the pressure bearing down on him, Jayce didn't flinch.
Most people would be afraid but unluckily for him, Jayce experienced a far more terrifying aura on his first day in town.
"If that's all you wanted, you should have just asked," Jayce replied as he pulled out a bag of gold coins from his satchel.
Although he was acting nonchalant, the bag contained the rest of his coins which were roughly around 250 million dollars. He needed all of them to put their attention on the bag.
Luis stopped releasing bloodlust as he focused all of his attention on the bag. 'That entire bag is full of gold coins!' He couldn't believe the amount of money that Jayce was holding in his hand.
"If you give me the bag, I can overlook your mistake this time." The gangster said as he reached out for the bag with one hand and put the other hand behind his back, reaching for a hidden dagger
'He probably has more gold in that satchel, after I kill him I can loot the rest off of his corpse!'
Just as Luis was about to grab the bag, Jayce threw it up into the air. All of the gangsters followed the bag as it soared threw the air.
Not wasting this chance, Jayce sprinted toward the head of the group.
Seeing movement in the corner of his eye, Luis pulled out his dagger ready to defend himself. But instead of attacking him, Jayce ran right past him without glancing at him.
'Is he trying to run away?' Luis thought but it quickly changed as Jayce punched one of the gangsters square in the face, knocking him out.
"Stop looking up you idiots and kill that brat!" Luis screamed as he launched one of his daggers aiming for Jayce's back.
Predicting his attack, Jayce grabbed one of the gangsters and tossed him in the way of the dagger. He had no time to react as the dagger pierced his heart, killing him on the spot.

Ignoring the message, Jayce moved on to his next victim. At this point, all of the gangsters were now aware of the situation as they pulled out their weapons.
But this didn't stop Jayce's advancements as he deflected a shortsword before pulling the attacker's face into his knee.
Sensing another strike behind him, Jayce leaned back as a broadsword flew inches above his head. Falling onto his hands, Jayce swung his legs, kicking two thugs who were rushing him from opposite sides.
Due to the bonus, he was receiving from his gauntlets, all of his attacks were having much more of an impact. Landing a single solid strike would render them unconscious.
'Six more to go.' Jayce thought as he jumped off his hands, landing back on his feet. With him being heavily outnumbered, he had no choice but to attack first.
If they had surrounded him from the start, Jayce doubted that he would have been able to survive without using Synchro.
Using his coins as a distraction, he took the initiative and charged into the middle of the group to reduce their numbers before they realized what happened.
They aren't trained soldiers, they are just people who were paid to swing a weapon and then thrown together in a group.
The only one he had to watch out for was Luis, so he always kept thugs between him and the leader. Any time he got closer, Jayce would create more distance, using the thugs as shields.
The only problem with this strategy was that it was extremely dangerous. If even one of them were able to land a hit on Jayce would result in his death.
But with his skill {Combat Clairvoyance}, he could avoid any attacks they threw at him as long as they were in his line of sight.
Jayce took his stance once more as he moved to parry an incoming attack. As the sword was about to hit his gauntlet, it suddenly lost its momentum as the attacker fell toward him.
Before Jayce could react, a dagger appeared in front of him, aiming for his heart.
Trying his best to avoid the dagger, Jayce pivoted on his back foot, making the dagger land in his arm rather than his chest.

'Tch'
Jumping back to create distance, three more daggers were launched at him. Expecting them this time, Jayce raised his gauntlets as he got ready to deflect the daggers.
But then another dagger came from the side, not aiming at Jayce but at the daggers on course for him. The dagger collided with the other one, changing the course of the dagger.
Not anticipating the change in direction, Jayce was only able to block the other two daggers as the third one pierced his foot, pinning his foot to the ground.
