Tournament (Part 2)

In the first round, all of the eliminations were because of a single person. A B-rank mage who possessed plant magic in an arena that was engulfed in greenery.

'How unfortunate for the rest of them,' Jayce thought as he watched the plant mage named Florence eliminate another competitor.

For those in the audience, the everchanging arena is a way to keep the fights interesting, for the participants, it was the difference between beating your opponent and being eliminated.

As Mr. Norris explained during class, mage's spells are split into Manipulation, Evocation, and Dominion.

Manipulation was the easiest and the least mana-consuming among the three methods. By spreading mana outside your body, you can command your respective element to do your bidding.

Like how Jayce used the shadows to create spikes to attack his enemies or how Florence used the roots of the trees to restrain her opponents.
