Chapter Twenty Six

Chase saw Lia crying.

But it's okay. It's not a big deal for her, She is not one of those who hates having others see her cry. She doesn't have a problem with crying. Unless you are her enemy or her middle school student, she doesn't mind crying in front of you.

She knows that people say crying makes you feel vulnerable, but she is not afraid of feeling vulnerable.

Why does she have such a progressive attitude? Well, she is vulnerable most of the damn time, anyway.

Regardless, it had been the first time for Chase to see her cry, and she wasn't sure how he was going to handle it.

When the man came home from work that evening, she was plastered on the carpet in front of the TV, crying.
