Alex was moved to the trauma center the next day. The traumatic brain injury had kept her in a coma with almost no signs of recovery.

"We got some improvements out of her. She was responding to pain, but there had not been any improvements in MRIs." The doctor said, "There is a ninety to ninety-eight percent chance that she will never recover."

It was very overwhelming for Adrian. His mind was in a mess. He never thought that he might lose his wife. He absentmindedly dragged his feet, walking heavily down the hallway, following his toes. Until then, he found himself on the rooftop of the hospital building. Standing on the edge of the building, staring at nowhere. His sight started to get blurred again from the brimming tears. It drowned him in a deep frown.
