Season Two: Chapter Sixty

Standing by the stage, looking and smiling at all the guests anticipating the magical moment, Chase felt nervous suddenly. He pestered Adrian to take one last look at his suit, his face, and his hair, until his best man assured him again and again that he was looking just as perfect as ever. He could feel his hands turning cold and sweaty as the time tickled while he waited for Lia to appear. He stared in the direction of the café until he could feel his eyes getting dry and teary. When he saw his daughter come out of the back of the café with a small basket of flower petals in her hands and Zig obediently following her behind like a little bodyguard, Chase smiled wholeheartedly at how angelic his daughter could be in that little blue dress.
