Lia was tucking Chelsea into bed when her phone rang. It came from her bedroom. She gave a small peck of kiss to her daughter's forehead before she whispered, "Good night, honey," to which she got a return of "Good night, mommy," as well. The little girl snuggled closer with Zig in her arms, as it has been a habit for her to share the bed with the puppy. Lia smiled to herself and retreated from Chelsea's room to her own bedroom to answer the still ringing phone.

She smiled again, as sweetly as ever, when she saw the caller. Pressing the answer button, she placed the phone to her ear, and before she could even speak a word, came the husky voice that always melts her heart.

Lia chuckled softly at the sound of her nickname. "What's with the call?"
