He tried to use his wood alignment mana, and was able to do so without any problems. In fact, his connection with it grew even stronger, and his control over it had also grown. He could also feel it brimming with strong power of Life, and used it to heal himself, just in case any internal injuries had formed from when tested the Silver Violet colored zone.

Atlas then tried to use the ice aligment energy in the way stated in the technique, and could use it. Although he wasn't very proficient in it, and he could also feel that his accumulation of that energy was also low. If he were to compare it to the Qi or Mana Methods, the energy located within the source could only rival that of a newly started practitioner.

But when he tried to look at his cultivation of the mana energy, he nearly fainted from shock. It wasn't that anything bad happened, but in fact his cultivation had grown several stages higher!

Atlas was now a Grandmaster Sorcerer, and an advanced level one at that! This definitely wasn't just because the mana accumulated in the water alignment core had been transferred into the wood elemental mana core, but probably had to with the Silver Violet intersection zone. Although that zone wasn't very big, he could feel that it packed more power than his current cultivation level at the very least.

Maybe as time passed, he could slowly enlarge the intersection zone and fuse the ice aligment energy source and the wood alignment mana core in to a single entity! How powerful would Atlas be if he could achieve such a feat? This, however, was nothing more than a dream to the current him, as he couldn't even test the intersected part.

All Atlas could do at this point was slowly get stronger and research history to see if such a thing had every happened to any other cultivator in the past. Maybe this kind of situation had so happened to the Dylan from his dream, since he had also possessed a dual energy core. Although his situation was different from that of Atlas right now, it was at least a similarity!

Then he got the idea that he should test his talent again. Since Dylan from the dreams talent had increased after the awakening, the same might happen for Atlas. It wasn't hard for any member of the alliance to get a talent tester, and since Atlas came from a noble family, it was even easier for him to get one.

What happened next didn't fail to surprise him. When he had used his wood aligment mana, his talent was shown to be SS+ tier! When he used his ice alignment energy, his talent was also shown to be SS+ tier! Obviously, he hadn't dared to test the energy inside that area as he might die if he tries to.

Atlas then took a shower and tidied himself and made his way to the library. The Orleans Academy Library was the fourth largest library in the entire alliance, coming after the; Alliance Core Library, Vermont Academy Library, and Alliance Military Library.

Surely all students could take enter the library, given that they have applied for a library entrance card, but the library wasn't just a single section. The Library was divided in to seven sections, and freshmen, unless authorized by higher ups, could only enter the first section, no matter what their social status is.

Atlas was sad that his nobility wasn't worth that much in the school grounds, but knew that it was for the good of everyone. Otherwise, who knows how arrogant some noble students would get? This could also cause people without any nobility to quarrel with those who do so, effectively resulting a civil war. Atlas as an academical prodigy, knew all of the pros and cons of such a strategy, and admired the higher ups who thought of it.

To his luck, he had long applied for a library entrance card when he first moved to the school dorms, and his application was approved. There wasn't any problem with him entering the first section to read any books.

By the time he reached the library, he had around 40 minutes until his next class would begin. He quickly entered and let the machine scan his entrance card, and opened up a virtual map on his personal device to check where the books he wanted to read where located.

A lot of the books in this library weren't available on online format as some intelligent lifeforms of earth could easily gain access to that kind of data. But the library layout was all included in the resources provided to the freshmen.

Atlas picked a couple books. He picked one about wood element cultivation, specifically its regenerative and healing usage. He picked a not so common but fairly strong swordsmanship technique book to cover for his Nine Nether Fros Sword Technique. He also picked a defensive water element cultivation as a cover for himself. He also picked up a few random books, which acted as a cover to the book he had mainly wanted to pick.

The experience of talent awakening. This was what the book he had mainly wanted covered, and such an information was crucial to him.

In total, he picked up around twelve books, six of which he particularly cared about. These were all books containing experiences and insights of the prior generations. Those six books were: Wood Element Cultivation, Ice Element Cultivation, Element Fusion Theory, Talent Reawakening, Healing Theoretical Techniques, Spiritual-Mental Cultivation.

He carried all the books as he came to the front desk to ask a worker to check these books out for him. Yet when he came to the front desk, he saw a familiar face he hadn't seen in a while.

"Big Brother Lei?"

He showed a slightly shocked expression as he never thought this would be how the two would meet after a long while.

"Oh? Atlas? It's really been a while. Come, sit down, you should be a freshman right? We should have some time until your homeroom is over to catch up."

This person was Atlas' cousin from his mother's side of the family, and the two had been on good terms. He was also in fact another person that the killer Atlas in his dream had killed.
