Chapter 83 - It's not natural

Whilst the heavy beats rang throughout the main hall of the club, behind the curtains at the office area, the old man, Jonathan Kane was being escorted by a young, long, curly honeycomb brown-haired secretary.

Unlike the faceless Vesper that had a designation as a number as her name and title at the same time, this woman was the assistant, the secretary.

Guiding the old man along the hallway, the duo kept a relative silence along their short journey. Even though he was escorted and was mostly new to this city, Jonathan seemed to be quite familiar with the layout as well as the design and remained mostly aloof.

As they closed on towards the end of the hallway, he squinted his eyes as he looked at the door in the distance. A large black leather tapestried door stood alone. There was no sign or nameplate on it, yet, from the distinct design it was clear it held great importance.
