Logue Town!

"So this is the Logue town...the place where Pirate King Gold Roger Died..." Toji muttered as black pear approached an island.

"That would be correct...the era of pirates which was started but just a few words..." Nojiko said as she stood beside him.

"Hm...do you have a preferable weapon? "Toji asked as he looked towards her.

"No...I haven't fought in my life actually..." Nojiko replied sheepishly.

"Hm...I guess guns would be a good start " Toji said.

"You know how to use guns? " Nojiko asked a little surprised.

"Nope, but I know the best to learn with weapons " Toji answered.

"What would that be? " Nojiko asked a little curious.

"Instincts, now set the anchor down we are near. " Toji said as he went in to prepare some berries for the journey.

"All right then, Nojiko get as many supplies as you want, here 5,000,000 berries should suffice, after that meet me back at the ship. " Toji said as he handed Nojiko some berries.

"Wait where are you going? " Nojiko asked as she accepted the berries.

"I will be getting us berries and some food to stock we are going to Grandline Afterall " Toji replied as he let.

'I didn't wanna follow you anyway humph' Nojiko thought with a pout as she too left.

"Now then what would be a good place for supplies " Toji muttered as he roamed around the streets of Logue town.

'Ipponmatsu's Arms? that seems promising' Toji thought as he headed towards that shop.

Toji stopped his steps mid-air as he felt something creeping all over him. Sweat started to appear over his forehead as he felt a terrifying presence.

"The hell? " Toji muttered as looked around trying to pinpoint the presence but was unable to.

Toji clenched his fists and squinted his eye and tried to look around. His teeth grinded against each other as he tried to find out where that hostility came from.

'It is as master told me, this world really is filled with monsters ' Toji thought a smirk formed on his face.

'I need to look for Nojiko she is too weak to go against someone like that, it seems that no one was able to sense it ' Toji thought as he realized he is not traveling alone, and then he went out trying to find Nojiko.

"Smoker-sama! You have to see this! It's the Bloody Blade! He is in Loguetown and seems to be trying to find someone " A man in a marine outfit yelled as he approached Smoker.

Smoker was a rear-admiral with white slicked hair and a buff figure. He was wearing the standard marine outfit along with a lot of cigars strapped over his shoulder.

"Inform Tagashi we will hunt that bastard now. " Smoker said as he picked up his Jitte and walked out.

"Nojiko! have you collected enough supplies? " Toji asked as he approached his blue-haired companion.

"Huh!?! Toji? yeah...I had just finished getting most of the supplies. " Nojiko replied a little surprised by Toji's sudden interruption.

"Good we are leaving now, I think someone might be targeting us, I have gathered some food supplies on the way, " Toji said and grabbed her like a sack and then used his other arm to get her supplies and bolted.

'What is that made even Toji scared...I am too weak to help in such a matter. ' Nojiko thought as she was carried by Toji.

"While looking for weapons I got hit by a sense of dread...it was quite similar to Ao-Guang Ryuu my master once told me about," Sanemi said as he informed Nojiko about Ryuu.

"Ryuu is something that everyone possesses it's just how they manifest differs " Toji continued.

"Ryuu is divided into four categories, Feng-Huang Ryuu allows one to see beyond normal eyesight (Observation Haki), Xuan-Wu Ryuu allows one to cover themselves in defense (Armament Haki), Ao-Gang Ryuu makes the user project a sense of dread and fear into opponents (Conqueror's Haki) and last but not the least, Baihu Ryuu which allows one to destroy the insides of the opponent(Infused Armament and Conqueror Haki), " Toji said as he explained Ryuu to Nojiko.

"Ao-Gang Ryuu and Baihu Ryuu are very hard to master, one needs to be of the right lineage or have the right drive to gain them, they are so rarely seen that even my master has not met one in his whole life " Toji finished.

"Amazing...to think such a power existed...Toji can you use any kind of Ryuu? " Nojiko asked.

"I can use Xuan-Wu Ryuu and Feng-Huang Ryuu to some extent while focusing other than that I am afraid that even I am new to this concept. " Toji said as he noticed people making a clearing in front of him.

"This is..." Toji muttered as he slowly dropped Nojiko.

"What's happening? " Nojiko asked.

"Nojiko mix in the crowd it seems that someone is trying to challenge me," Toji said as he grinned.

'He totally forgot about everything while thinking about fighting ' Nojiko thought with a sigh.

"Captain, is it alright to do it like this? I mean the civilians can be injured?" Tashigi asked.

Tashigi was a woman with dark brown eyes and wears her black hair between chin- and shoulder-length.

She was wearing short-sleeved shirts of varying different colors and designs but were covered with her white-trimmed, waist-length blue leather coat. He also had a pair of glasses with red frames.

"His crew only includes him and an unknown girl, he has no other option to fight here he should be coming soon. " Smoker replied as he got ready with his Jitte.

"I didn't make you wait for long now did I! " Toji yelled as he leaped into the clearing.

"It is Bloody Blade Toji! I heard he wiped out multiple pirates as a bounty hunter and almost cleared the entire east blue! " Mob-A yelled.

"Really? then why is he fighting the marines? " Mob-B asked.

"I heard that recently he became a pirate with a bounty over 30 million!" Mob-A replied.

"Sir there are still civilians here..." Tashigi muttered.

"If they are dumb enough to stay till now they deserve to die with natural selection " Smoker replied as he pointed his Jitte towards Toji.

"Ho? quite cold aren't you? well, who am I to complain let's start! " Toji yelled and rushed towards Smoker.

"Haaa!!!" Toji roared as he pulled out his blade and it clashed with Smoker's Jitte locking both of them.

Toji then performed a low kick in order to distract Smoker but Smoker's leg turned into smoke. As Toji was caught off balance Smoker slammed Toji's face with his Jitte as Toji was knocked back a little.

"Blizzard Stroke! " Tashigi called out as she tried to perform a quickdraw on Toji. In response, Toji covered a part of his arm in scales as he blocked the attack and then kicked her in Smoker's direction.

"Tch, Pirate scum " Smoker muttered as he had to turn into human form to catch Tashigi.

'A fruit that turns him into smoke? heh,' Sanemi thought as a smirk made its way on his face.

"So you can turn into smoke eh? then try this! Wind-Blade! " Sanemi yelled as he launched a ball of concentrated air which expanded resulting in a small tornado of sharp winds.

"Crap" Smoker yelped as he was getting sucked in the wind current.

"You are forgetting about me! "Tashigi yelled as she tried to slice Toji's arm which was producing the winds.

Wind gather around Toji's left leg as he stopped his assault on Smoker and used the wind-infused leg to perform a round-house kick on Tashigi sending her flying.

"Tashigi! You bastard! White Out! " Smoker yelled as he threw a punch made of smoke towards Toji.

"Nether winds! " Toji yelled as he performed a sword slash which was surrounded by chaotic crescent winds.

"Ahhh!!" Smoker yelled as he was gravely injured.

'Wind is naturally superior element than smoke, even without haki he can kill me here.' Smoker thought as he retreated his now bleeding and probably broken hand.

"Wing Scythe! " Sanemi yelled as sharp wind blades gathered in his palm shot towards Smoker.

"Shit "Smoker muttered as the wind blades sliced multiple parts of his body making him bleed rapidly.

'I won't be able to fight any longer...his elemental control and raw power are more than me...he is definitely not someone of my league... Smoker thaught.

Smoker's life flashed in front of his eyes as memories of his time as a marine in training resurfaced.

'I pledge to make sure no innocent civilian gets hurt'

Smoker slowly got up despite his injuries.

'I pledge that no criminal escapes my grasps. '

He uses his Jitte as support as he gets up despite all of his bloody and broken figure.

"Smoker-sama..." The marines who were behind Smoker were deeply inspired by Smoker's will.

"Tough Bastard..." Toji said as he too got in a stance.

'Toji-san...' Nojiko though now a little concerned. The crowd she was hiding in had already dissipated as she alone stood behind Toji.

"I made a pledge...I will not let scum like you harm anyone here..." Smoker said between bouts of blood.

"I will...show you my RESOLVE!!" Smoker yelled as his feet turned into smoke and he propelled himself towards Toji at high speed.

'Focus...clear your mind..." Toji talked to himself as he closed his eyes and took a stance.

'Xuan-Wu Ryuu...' An invisible covering of Armament haki appeared all over his arms and blade.

"Basaltic Wave! " Toji opened his eyes and exclaimed as he slashed Smoker eight times all over his body.

Unable to react Smoker's body fell to the ground as his own blood covered him from head to toe.
