Chapter 2

On a Tuesday, Mr. Tyler was on his way to the police station in his mustang car, when he realized that he had a tail.

Mr. Tyler who was not at first sure whether he was being tailed decided to play a trick to find out what was really happening. He kept maintaining his peed for a while but he suddenly increased the speed of his car and he saw the other car rise to the challenge and when he saw this, he turned to an adjoining Street and the other car followed at top speed until he suddenly did a U-turn with the car whilst drifting, the car tires squealed at the sudden change of direction leaving skid marks on the road.

The driver of the other car (a Nissan Altima) realizing his mistake continued going down the street, knowing that the trick had done him no good, since he wasn't the only one on the job.

Mr. Tyler haven seen the Nissan Altima continue driving down the street became unbothered and eased his foot off the accelerator.

When he got to a secluded area which leads to the police station, a car suddenly came out from an adjoining street and double-crossed him, giving him no space to pass. Mr. Tyler (who had gone full police mode) hit the brake of the car and started to reverse the car. It was then he noticed that the Nissan he ditched earlier was now at his back with another car parked beside it, he was trapped.

Mr. Tyler realizing he had no means of escape, came out of his car and shouted, "What is the meaning of all this? Am an officer of the law, you have no right whatsoever to double-cross me."

Python then came out of the first car, his face masked and a pistol held in his right hand which he pointed at Mr. Tyler.

"Oh! I know who you are, you are the stubborn he-goat who refused to heed warnings and do you know what we do to stubborn he-goats where am from?" Biola asked rhetorically whilst smiling wickedly. "We kill them."

He was about to pull the trigger on his gun when he noticed that Mr. Tyler was smiling, he unconsciously took a step back. He remembered what his grandma told him when he was a child. "Only a man with a plan to cheat death smiles in the face of death." She had said.

"And why are you smiling?" Python asked taking another step back towards his car.

Mr. Tyler continued smiling until he suddenly put his hand inside a hidden pocket at the side of his coat, withdrew a stun grenade, removed the pin and threw it at Python. All of this happened in less than two seconds because Mr. Tyler was a highly trained police operative.

Python immediately ran into his car, just as Mr. Tyler threw the grenade, knowing that it takes a few seconds before a stun grenade exploded, he put the car into gear, reversed it and did a U-turn while hitting his foot hard on the accelerator right before the grenade exploded.

Meanwhile, immediately Mr. Tyler threw the grenade, he got into the car, ignited it and started chasing Python's car. The police, who were attracted by the explosion of the grenade had started giving the drivers of the two other cars a hot chase.

Python who was being chased by Mr. Tyler was trying all he could to make his car (a Toyota Camry) go faster.

Mr. Tyler's Mustang was soon catching up with the Toyota Camry. At this point, Python who was clearly frustrated at the slower speed of his car, decided to do something drastic, he turned the car around facing the oncoming Mustang and started driving his car at top speed towards the Mustang as if he wanted to hit it and that was exactly what he intended to do. He knew his car won't be badly affected because it had a frame of strong metal bars attached to it's front which was protecting it.

Mr. Tyler sensing danger, turned the car around and around (his tires drawing figure eight like shapes on the road) in a reckless way intending to make Python lose control.

Python who knew Mr. Tyler's intention, did the exact same thing the police officer was doing intending the same goal the officer was after.

Mr. Tyler suddenly lost control of his car and hit a closed a container-like shop located at the road side. Python on seeing this, straightened the wheel of his car, did a U-turn, put his foot down hard on the accelerator and sped off making use of the opportunity that presented itself to escape.

The next day, Mr. Tyler woke up and found himself in the hospital, he was about to sit-up when he felt extreme pain all over his body. It was as if he has just been beaten with an iron rod with spikes on it right after he was beaten with a whip. He was lucky to have minor injuries, the doctor had told him, but his problem was a vicious circle, he had lost control of one of his hands, his left one to be precise, from the fingers to the wrist and it was explained by the doctor that his nerves were damaged by the accident he had the day before and they have to amputate the hand.
