Versus pt. 3

"Gea!" Shouted Senaria from the edge of the arena. She then threw a new hand-fan for the girl to use. Yep, a really unique taste for a combat class signature weapon.

The Ambawak girl is classified as Dubalang Kipeh, a female soldier who excels in the art of defense. They're responsible for protecting other Dubalang on the battlefield since the start of the 4th Era (currently we're in the 5th.)

Gea smoothly caught the hand-fan and quickly spread it as she receives it. She then covered her mouth with its body while staring adorably at Sahasya, who's standing far in front of her and the Kapak, while politely waiting for them to recover.

"I really need to assess her ability before letting Anna begin her engagement…"

Sahasya proceeded to reaffirm his stance, with his [Santi] relit to its churning state. The snow around him rapidly turned into steam, he charged his weapon so hard the blade shook violently as if it's about to explode.

"Whoa! Hold yer horses, little man."

Both of the Dubalang start putting up their own stance, getting ready to face whatever it is Sahasya had in store for them.

The boy jumped, not frontally straight, but from side to side, one earth wall after the other, trying to confuse those two who are a lot slower than him.

Until he launched himself… and not even the wind could ever catch up. His sword slashed furiously, with no trace of mercy drawn on it, aimed straight towards the head of the big guy.

*Crank!*

Yet to his surprise, the Kapak's able to parry his strike with his left wrist. His whole arm is covered in pottery, hardened until it is strong enough to withstand even a charging steel.

Not to mention how pretty the design was before it cracked. Females of Ambawak are known for their craftsmanship in the art of pottery. Meaning those protections are from the Kipeh, who's currently putting a gesture with her fan, with her eyes fully glowed in green.

"Blaze me! This girl's good…" Sahaysya grumbled, with a mixed expression of surprised, impressed, and annoyed.

In the midst of all of this, the boy could feel a vibration coming from the big guy he's attacking. He immediately pulled his [Santi] back from his enemy's arm, throwing himself into the air.

And his gut was right. As soon as he left, that giant ax of the Kapak instantly swung at the place Sahasya's been before. It's a nice call. On the other hand, frustration can be seen in Kapak's face since all his attempt seems to keep missing their target.

"I guess he began to realize how incompatible he is against my type… well, I got my own problem too… that girl can also outmatch me pretty easily, we need another party to enter so this stalemate could end."

Feeling a bit cornered, Sahasya began making cues with his hand, signaling someone about his next plan. Then without saying another word, the boy back to charging at his enemy (yeah, singular, he won't hurt Gea, males don't usually hit a female enemy in a Versus unless to keep them distanced, disabled, or occupied).

His blade was swift, his strike was quick, yet none of his attempts manage to leave any mark on his opponent. But, this one's different, as his last attack was not meant to deal damage, but to create a diversion.

*B-B-B-Bang!*

Suddenly, tens of bullets started raining on the big guy's back, filled with hot lead while marking every spot they hit with a tattoo of a butterfly lock.

"Shake me diamonds…"

The Dubalangs noticed that all the fiery butterflies now move ever closer to him. Anna has come to join the fun, and she brought the whole army with her. Well not really…

Anna emerged from one of her butterflies and kept shooting her shots every place in the Kapak's body. Each time a bullet hits an empty spot, a new tattoo appears on it.

"Damn this pest!" Shouted the big guy angrily, annoyed at whatever it is Anna's doing.

"Oy! Be polite to your princess, you burnt charcoal!" Sahasya sarcastically said, with a little grin on his face.

Gea saw how Anna kept blinking from one butterfly to the other while pouring her ammunition at her male combatant. She didn't know what the girl was doing, since the big guy didn't seem to get hurt by it.

Though whatever it is, she knew it's not a good thing. So she took an action and began creating motions with her hand-fan, gathering luminance out of thin air, creating an area around the Kapak's vicinity.

"(Fortress of Shield)"

"Ambteng Parisai!"

She spread her fan wide and struck it into the air. Rays of ivory light filled the arena, turning slowly into hundreds of terracotta shields. But as they were inforced by magic, these bad boys can even hold a cannon fire.

"Blaze me that's impressive…" Sahasya on the other hand seemed to be mesmerized by the design of her pottery.

All of a sudden, a blink of orange light appeared beside him. His beloved switched places with a fiery butterfly near him, after having all of her attacks blocked by the fortress on the center of the arena.

"My Prince… can you bring him outside just for a second? I think I'm almost done with my part." Said Anna, complaining to the Crown Prince.

"Consider it done!"

Sahasya raised his thumb and ran to the [Fortress of Shield] through the remaining earth walls. Even though those stacks of shields seem to be very attached to one another, Gea made a tiny opening for Sahasya to enter, as if she's making it clear that she invited him inside.

It is indeed a trap, being in that tight space only gives the advantage to the Kapak, since he can reach every side of the room with his ax.

"Some private time eh?"

When Sahasya enters, Gea was nowhere to be seen, she already buried herself in the ground just like before he stopped Sahasya's bullet before, so she won't get caught getting hit by the soon to be raging ax.

"You fell for it, fool!" The big guy shouted.

Although before he even has the time to think about attacking, Sahasya already launched himself with a violent strike.

*Clank!*

Yet again, the big guy manages to block his [Santi], this time… with his giant ax. Yet Sahasya's not surprised in the slightest.

Seeing how the boy's attempt failed, a big grin was carved onto the Kapak's face. He proceeded to rushingly pour elemental energy into his weapon, flowing it with a stream of power.

"Layang Baliak!"

His ax began to emit light, so bright, it almost blinded Sahasya. In a flash, a powerful shockwave was blown, many times the power of the attack Sahasya had put on that Kapak's weapon.

Being bantered by his own multiplied attack, the boy's body was now thrown violently. So strong that he pierced the pile of terracotta shields behind him.

"Ack—"

Blood burst out of his mouth, as his back ended hitting the wall at the edge of the arena.

The Kapak waste no time, he charged towards Sahasya at the speed of a speeding arrow, forcefully swinging his ax, to the point its blade left stuck on the wall.

Yet unfortunately for him, this is not the first time Sahasya ever dealt with such pain, he recovered as fast as a person could blink and dodged the swing with his jump. He's then swiftly landed on the stuck ax.

"I never thought you could give such a nice fight! I can see how you ended up on Class 1, even tho you're such a retarded person." Said Sahasya as he comfortably squats at the top of the big guy's weapon.

At the same time, the Kapak realized there's another person present among them. She's sitting nicely on his shoulder while staring at him with her ambery orange eyes.

He didn't know what just happened, but something tells him, that he's now beyond fucked.

Anna then jumped, with her twin [Butterfly Pistols] aimed at the very last spot she hasn't shot yet.

*Bang! Bang! Bang!*

And now it's done. The number of tattoos in that poor Dublanag's body was now enough for their standards. For what you might ask?

"A finisher is in order o sweet butterfly!"

Sahasya launches himself as far away as possible from his opponent, and blazing fire began to envelop his body whole.

A stance has been made, with the blade of his santi nicely pointed at his opponent's flesh and bones. Flames raging, melted every bit of snow that covered the whole arena.

This place is now wet and slippery, the Dubalang won't be able to escape from his position without getting himself slipped by it. Although he could just dive inside if he used his brain correctly.

Gea realized how bad the situation is. She emerged from the ground and started casting her spell to block the way from Sahasya to the big guy.

Mountains of walls rose from the ground, restraining Sahasya's movement so that he could not freely toss himself anywhere.

Or so she thought.

Unfortunately for her, she failed to measure how hard that boy can hit.

"Karis Renteng!"

With the pride of a lion, Sahasya blast himself off, faster than a speeding bullet, through every wall that stands in his way.

The giant got his body slashed open, then hundreds of cuts followed within, with the same exact force and length in each of them. Blood spurted everywhere, and the match is now set.

"Good Fight! Well Played!"

Now to answer the question you had in your mind, what is so important about the tattoo Anna's been planting throughout her entry in this fight?

The fire duo has a combat class of Santi Waraney and Ina Waraney, together they made a pair called Leo-Kalipopo, or also nicknamed the Giant Eater.

This duo is made with the purpose of killing sea monsters that often attack the Fire tribe along with the army from the ocean.

Ina Waraney will create a lock that can be used for 2 purposes, to open more ways for an attack to enter, or to exactly copy the strike from [Karis], a set of signature skills belonging to Santi Waraney.

The lock can only be opened by 1 specific key, which is held by the Santi Waraney who becomes their pair.

With every lock planted another copy of strikes will be made. However each lock can't be stacked to one another, that's why a huge enemy like Dubalang Kapak is the perfect target for their synergy.

From the combat class alone, they're already being outmatched.
