Forgetting Goals
In the blink of an eye,
A black portal opened inside the forest where bandits reside in. Old man Ao walked out of the portal. Looking at the forest in front of him he flew towards the nearest bandit camp.
After old man Ao reached the bandit camp the scene in front of him made him horrified. Dead bodies were scattered everywhere, some had their heads missing while others were cleanly cut in half.
'Did an empire send their army to kill..?'
After watching the horrific scene in front of him, old man Ao's first thought was that some empire sent an army of soldiers to clean the bandits.
The reason for that was because there were no bodies of opponents present. And only soldiers will have the discipline to clean the bodies of their comrades.
Old man Ao followed the trail and soon saw the second camp which was in a similar state to the first camp. Then he found the third camp, then forth… as he progressed forward and forward through the jungle the state of corpses began to turn more inhumane. Some had their entire upper body torn while others had their lower body torn from the corpse.
After watching 36 eradicated bandit camps with his own eyes old man Ao was filled with disbelief.
'Oh my god… how much did these bandits anger the empire '
In the dragon palace world, there were different empires that manage mortal lives. These empires were a great source for the dragon palace. Whether to reach talented disciples or to collect resources from mortal areas empires were a great tool for The dragon palace.
As old man Ao was thinking about how to proceed with finding his disciple, he heard fighting noises coming from the east side of the jungle.
Curious, he flew in the direction and the scene in front of him sent chills running down his spine.
He saw his disciple Zhu Shen killing the bandits left and right. His eyes were scarlet red, with blood dripping down from them. He had numerous injuries and some of them even congealed due to negligence. He looked like a walking zombie without any emotion at all.
But,
One thing about Zhu Shen scared old man Ao the most. The killing intent leaked out of Zhu Shen's body. It was almost corporal.
'Don't tell me…'
Old man Ao remembered the scenes of 36 bandit camps as a bad feeling crept inside his heart.
He instantly released a breath turning everything around Zhu Shen into dust. Including all the remaining bandits.
Old man Ao flew down and landed in front of Zhu Shen. As soon as Zhu Shen saw another human appear in front of him he lunged towards him.
"Kill…"
This was the only word Zhu Shen was able to say. But before he could reach old man Ao, he saw old man Ao disappear.
Old man Ao reappeared just centimetres away from Zhu Shen. He raised his hand and placed it on Zhu Shen's temple.
"CALM DOWN…."
A ripple spread out of old man Ao's hand submerging everything within thousands of kilometres. Every sound stopped as a deathly silence spread within those thousand kilometres.
Clarity returned in Zhu Shen's eyes as he looked at old man Ao. his scarlet eyes changed to normal white colour as he difficultly uttered one word,
"M-Master…"
As soon as he uttered those words, his body felt some unknown relief as he closed his eyes.
Old man Ao caught his disciple in front of him with gentle hands.
'I have ordered you to kill mountain bandit group…. Not every bandit groups'
Tears flew down old man Ao's wrinkled face as he looked at his disciple who was sleeping peacefully. Anger, regret all kinds of emotions appeared on old man Ao's face.
'I will let you heal peacefully first… then I will properly punish you…'
A voice full of anger and unwillingness could be heard as old man ao opened a space portal towards The dragon palace.

In The Dragon Palace,
Somewhere Inside a majestic mountain, an old lady was giving a lecture to her young student about plants.
"Little yan watch carefully, once you remove the blood lily it is essential to store it inside a flask filled with blood to preserve its lifespan. Watch closely, If you do this step incorrectly the blood lily might discolour."
The young girl named Ao yan was listening very carefully to the old lady's explanation.
Suddenly,
The old lady raised her head and looked towards the sky yelling,
"Old people have no manners these days, coming to my medicinal hall like it is their back garden."
Old man Ao who just appeared on the cliff felt a little embarrassed. He could only ignore the old lady's words and fly towards the old lady.
"Old man if you are here for the medicinal bath herbs then you can go back. I will not give you 1 catty more."
Seeing old man Ao still flying towards her, the old lady wanted to shout more.
"Old man did you not hear----"
The old lady's words soon disappeared as he saw Zhu Shen in old man Ao's arms. She disappeared from her spot and appeared right next to old man Ao.
Looking at the condition Zhu Shen was in, Old lady was horrified. There was no spot on Zhu Shen's body that was not covered with scars. His breath was so low that it might die down any time soon.
"I…."
"Hmph…"
Old man Ao wanted to explain to the old lady, but she just humped and took Zhu Shen from old man Ao's embrace and walked towards the top of the mountain.
Old man Ao could only watch the old lady fly towards the top of the mountain. He could only sigh as he followed behind the old lady.
One could easily tell that old man Ao and the old lady from the medicine hall had a complicated past just by one glance.

Hello everyone,
Lesson Time.
In this chapter, you saw Zhu Shen in a very particular state, where he forgot about himself and the people around him. He also forgot about time.
This state is called Lost state. Where a person loses himself doing a single thing.
There are many examples in your life where you will lose yourself, lose track of time around you. You will push your days like an unmotivated person without any goal (like a salted fish).
There are many ways for normal people to prevent or to come out of this Lost state.
Try a trip in the jungle or a place outside of human influence… where you can see and feel the beauty of nature.
Try socializing, go to karaoke, parties, club to feel the active atmosphere inside.
The most effective method, try to talk to your parents or loved ones. Tell them about today's experience in detail. Make a habit of telling your daily experiences and sharing your feelings.
Once you will be comfortable with all those things, then try to work. Work for your parents, work for your trips and parties. You will become more and more active.
The second lost state happens to a small number of people,
This generally happens within beginners where they will learn something online and without them realizing it, will get lost in that something. The amazing experiences will make them dive deeper into a world full of uncertainties.
My only advice to them will be If you don't have a master like old man Ao who can watch your every step and guide you... STOP.

Reflect upon yourself, how much you have changed during this time.
Where is your goal, is it in your grasp or you are slowly drifting away from it…?
Where is your goal…?
Even if you want to experience magical things in your life, always maintain a golden thread of your belief attached to your goal.
A golden thread that will pull you back whenever you feel lost.
Take a deep breath again.

If you have a goal in your mind, let go of all the worries. The whole Universe will help you achieve your goal.
