Game, one of the entertainment sources which people play for fun. But, if it's not fun then it's for the challenge, thrill, or other exciting things.

If you are a skilled player and beat the game that no one in history could, how will you feel? Happy, Joy, will the excitement get you? Don't you want to share that achievement throughout the world?

Virtual Games, one of the most famous gaming platforms which debuted 30 years ago. After 18 years of the Virtual Games debut, a single game developed.

A fantasy game. More clearly, an MMORPG with a realistic mechanism. And the most famous thing in that game or any people would remember that game for its insane diffculty.

No, it's not only insane but impossible. Not only that, thousands of people formed a party to defeat the initial level 10 boss, but failed.

Hundreds of skilled players, guilds, parties, and alliances all tried their best, probably spent their whole day without leaving the computer, just to get strong and kill the boss.

Slowly by slowly, people cleared the boss, but because of insanely difficult the game was, 50% of the player quit the game.

Some even destroy their own VR device just due to rage of dying multiple times in a minute. But some hardcore gamer, those who like challenges still did their best in the game.

But they also couldn't clear the game. Insane puzzle, insanely strong enemies and hindered to thousand times stronger boss, or what more.

A single puzzle averagely required 10 to 20 hours of hard work. So, no one in the last 11 years defeat the game.

And it became one of the most failed games with the player base only 1.

Yea, 1. A single-player, a challenger, a hardcore, a crazy, and the time waster. You can say anything you want but the single-player, defeat the game. And Ji-Yoo was the one.

"Whew! I finally cleared the last boss. It took me hours."

Ji-Yoo stood from his chair and stretched his arms. On the computer screen, a notification appeared.

T-ring

[Congralution. You have defeated the final boss]

[You have become the first person to beat the game]

[The game developers are very happy to watch their game ended]

"Really? This game even has a developer!"

Hell Towers was made by some unknown company. No one knew who created it. The game without any advertising, without any news, suddenly appeared in the market.

And, even with thousands of complaints about the game's difficulty, no one read it. No developer post any news, nor does any crew give any news about the game.

The reports were only read by NPCs managers. And that was also the prime reason why the gamers quit.

T-ring!

[Since the game has been cleared]

[An additional update will be relesed]

[The game will reboot and the servers will be closed for 24 hours]

"Really?"

Ji-Yoo looked at the screen with wide eyes.

"This game is trash. And no people even play it and they want to reboot the game. Really?"

He sighed. He didn't clear about the update since he is going to quit the game.

"Well, I have played this game for 12 years straight. From my school year to now adult, I have never missed a day when I played this game.

And hell, I beat the floor 1 hundreds of times to find secrets, floor 2 many times and up to the final floor, I have beaten all lower floors at least 10 times to find any secrets and mechanism of the game."

Grumble~

His stomach grumbled and begged for food. He hadn't eaten anything for a whole day and it's midnight outside.

Without any hesitation, he opened the fridge, took out five cups noodles, and ate it.

After eating it, he straightly went to bed and closed his eyes.

"Ha! My 12 years really passed like a lantern."

He sighed and slowly by slowly his consciousness faded and he went to the land of dreams.

Next Morning-

Yawn!

Ji-Yoo woke while rubbing his eyes. He looked at his mobile phone to know the time.

"Wait really? I slept till afternoon."

He stood and stretched his arms. He went inside the bathroom and washed his face.

[11:45:28 AM]

He took out some chips and instant noodles. He ate that as his breakfast.

He opened his computer, browsed through some emails and websites. He checked some news and he opened the game Hell Tower to look at the game update. Even if he was going to quit, he at least wanted to know what will be added in the update.

As the game turned on, a single screen appeared.

Ding!

The timer went by and Ji-Yoo's eyes glimmered in excitement. But expect of the screen continuing, the game automatically closed and the computer automatically turned off.

Ji-Yoo became surprised.

"Did my PC get a virus?"

He wondered and tried to turn the PC on again. But-

A huge earthquake hit the area. Everything started to shake and Ji-Yoo who wasn't prepared, fell down by the sudden movement.

"Ouch!"

He rubbed his legs which got hit by the computer desk. The earthquake also stopped suddenly.

"What was that?"

He looked outside from the window to check if anything happened to the area. But, the moment he opened his window, his face froze in shock.
