"Oh dear god....."
Tons of people could be heard chanting this, or what they would say praying this. They were holding each other's hands forming a circle. In the middle of the circle was Enso.
Oh dear, it seemed as if they were trying to curse her, oh but no! What they thought was a blessing was a tragic curse! How could this happen to such a little girl! I ought to help her!!
There stood a woman with a few wrinkles. Her eyebrows were arched down as she was thinking. The woman did seem in place as she was apart of the circle, but she was the only one with a trace of sympathy on her face.
This was one of the few thing that this woman would have never done.
Enso looked straight ahead of her as they were praying around her. Her face remained solemn and still. Only she knew inside that she was hoping for this to end. She was petrified unable to move. Her only choice was to show no reaction.
Even though her mom was right in front of her. Even though her mom made this all happen. She stayed still as a statue. She couldn't react no matter what.
But that only lasted until they stopped. They started shift over to each other leaving space open in the circle. What or who appeared after gave Enso a frighten shock.
The person was in a dark cloak, the hood was too big to be able to see the figures face. Though their figure did give off a familiar feeling it felt as if Enso should never have a thought like that.
The thing was even though that familiar was suppose to give a comforting light to Enso, it didn't. Rather it gave the opposite feeling, fear.
What did terrify her the most was not that surprisingly. It was the dagger they held in their hands. Stained with rust, dried blood, and was glowing red.
