25. Bad Morning

The sunlight that came into the room and hit the face of someone who was sleeping disturbed him. The eyelids with thick eyelashes began to move uncomfortably because of the light. His body was still wrapped nicely by the thick fluffy blanket that had been attached for several hours. Anyone who saw him at this time would also fall asleep because of the good way he fell asleep. But not long after, the eyes began to open with a feeling of dizziness in the head that throbbed in pain instantly.

Tara. The girl with perfect beauty held her head which was in great pain while still trying to open her eyes. His consciousness began to return due to the pain in his head. Closing his eyes now and then because he couldn't stand it and finally realized something. The eyes then opened wide when they realized that he was no longer lying on the grass but lying on a soft bed with a very strong scent from a man.

"Damn it," Tara moaned, still trying to hold back the pain in her head. He began to move by leaning against the head of the bed and his eyes did reveal a room he had never been in before, but he could already guess that this was the room of a jerk who for a while had made him sick of life. Yes... Judging from how the arrangement of each part is mainly also with a typical male scent. That already indicates who owns this spacious room, right?

The sound of footsteps then made Tara turn around. His eyes saw a half-naked body that was getting closer to the bed with a relaxed look. Tara covered her eyes with her palms and opened them again when she realized something. Ah, last night nothing happened right? Don't say bad things if he doesn't remember this moment. Oh, come on… Don't joke about bad things.

Seeing Tara's strange behavior in the morning. Aldrick smiled sarcastically and opened his cupboard. Take the clothes because he is going to work. Ignoring Tara who kept her eyes closed avoiding something Tara might have thought was inappropriate. Oh, just ignore it. Aldrick was lazy to deal with that hypocritical girl. Oh, or had the girl been remembering last night's events that she looked embarrassed now? Seriously.

"Go away. I don't want my bed to get dirtier because it keeps being occupied by a hypocritical girl like you."

Tara frowned in surprise. His eyes narrowed as he tried to find the truth of what Aldrick said this time. Hey... What did he say? Hypocrite girl? Didn't his ears hear wrong? Does that bastard say he's a hypocrite? Isn't that wrong? Seriously. That sounds bad considering she is a girl with a good attitude in the eyes of the public as well as by the views of those around her. Then? What did Aldrick mean by her being a hypocrite girl?

Tara wanted to refute Aldrick's words with what was the truth, but when she looked back at Aldrick she was afraid that the man would still wear his clothes and show something that was not good for his eyesight. No… He didn't want his eyes to get dirty because he saw something inappropriate. Gosh… Was that guy so shameless that he casually changed clothes in front of Tara? Seriously.

"Nothing happened between us did it?" Tara asked carefully without looking at Aldrick who was now wearing his clothes without turning around. As if not thinking about Tara who could see her naked at any moment. Leave it alone. He didn't care what Tara thought of him. Tara had also thought about whether her question would offend or be a problem, but curiosity made her shake off that fear.

"Who knows," Aldrick replied nonchalantly and casually put on his trousers. His eyes occasionally looked at Tara who was still covering her eyes with her palms. Gosh... That girl acting so innocent in front of him? Seriously. Then how about last night?

Tara sighed annoyed at Aldrick's answer. That wasn't what he wanted to hear, but the slightest explanation that they weren't doing something. That was enough to convince Tara that she still had her crown. But what did Aldrick say? The man is!

Aldrick approached. It cut the distance between them, making Tara who was covering her face irritated. Slowly Aldrick opened Tara's palms and made the girl look directly at him. That innocent look was really funny in Aldrick's eyes right now, but he didn't say a better word the other way around.

"Don't expect more from me, Litara. You are nothing more than someone who was sold to me."

Wicked? Of course. Aldrick never thought of holding back what he wanted to say, not even thinking about the feelings of the person he was talking to. And Tara is one of the many people he ignores and doesn't care about. Yes… Aldrick with all the mysterious things about him.

Tara's hands wanted to clench. Of course, he didn't accept it. What do you mean by sale? Tara's parents weren't people who liked money more than their daughter. And Aldrick's words are a complete lie when he realizes that Tara's family is almost equal to the Aldrick family's wealth. Regarding her betrothed? Tara herself doesn't know the reason her parents are behind this stupid decision. Then? Why did Aldrick talk that he was sold? Seriously!

"At least that sounds better than being your mistress when you have a legal wife, Mr. Aldrick Fagansa Serriel," Tara replied no less fiercely. It was no longer a sense of shame or fear of facing Aldrick at this time, but rather a sense of revenge with a plan of revenge. The fist that he wanted to throw out earlier now turned into a gentle caress on Aldrick's firm jaw, brushing the fine hairs around Aldrick's handsome face in a deliberately seductive motion. Yes… Tara with her teasing style this time.

Aldrick snorted as he rebuffed Tara's impudent hand. His gaze turned dark and untouchable. Tara's words and actions made her emotions kick in. Slowly, the full lips parted in the middle let out a clear grin with sharp eyes focused on Tara's irises.

"You'll regret talking like that after remembering what happened last night."

The bold look that Tara gave earlier was replaced by a questioning and fearful look. Aldrick's words made him afraid of something if the bad image was true. But somehow his heart said there was something hidden. What's that? He really couldn't think well.

Aldrick pulled away and walked towards the walk-in closet. Leaving Tara with all her thoughts because Aldrick doesn't care about that hypocrite girl. Seeing how Tara acted boldly in front of him made Aldrick sure that the girl hadn't remembered what happened last night. Yes… Aldrick was sure of that so he said it to Tara and sure enough, the girl's gaze immediately changed. While Tara was stunned to see Aldrick's departure. He was afraid of something but his heart said it was fine. Tara didn't know what to do at this point. Another fear began to haunt him who was still on the bed wrapped in a thick blanket.
