27. Small Game

Tara lay back down with her hands covering her face. He was so embarrassed now. The memory of that kiss never left his mind nor his eyes. Even he can still feel how soft the two lips are fused. Oh my gosh... This is so torturous.

A long sigh was heard. Made Tara open her eyes again and her eyes found someone standing right above her. His mouth that was almost screaming in shock he immediately shut up. Shame is the main thing he feels right now. He immediately turned his face to the other side to avoid the person's gaze.

Gosh… How is she going to deal with this guy now, huh? Truly!

"Don't leave anything in my room," said Aldrick, throwing a small bag right in front of Tara's face who was looking to the left. Avoid him.

Tara ignored him. Hy felt ashamed of Aldrick. He covered his face with one right hand to avoid meeting Aldrick's eyes because otherwise, see Tara would be even more embarrassed. That's bad you know. He acts as if he didn't do anything and the reality says otherwise. He felt worse than a thief now.

Meanwhile, Aldrick who saw Tara's strange behavior frowned in surprise. What's with that girl? But there was no need to think long, Aldrick seemed to know something now. A sinister smile was etched on his face at his stupid plan this time.

"I thought there was something that you didn't dare look at me," Aldrick snarled, making sure what he was thinking was true.

Tara covered her face even more. Why is Aldrick always right? It makes him look small now. "No. Go when you're done."

Aldrick smirked. It's strange to see Tara's behavior right now if she has nothing to hide. Look... He even spoke without looking at Aldrick. Not like when in the previous room. With this, Aldrick wanted to find out more about what Tara was thinking of him. Last night's memory? Of cours,e Aldrick remembers how it happened.

Tara felt someone climb into her bed. He was curious and then turned around, making sure what happened. But it wasn't a good thing he got, but Aldrick's face was right in front of his face when he just turned around which made him reflect on a mistake.

Plak!

A hard slap hit Aldrick's cheek by Tara's hand who was startled by Aldrick's face being so close to hers. Jeez... This is going to be a new problem after last night's embarrassing incident. O,h come on... Tara doesn't know what she's doing now. He covered his mouth in disbelief that he could do this crazy thing. This man would kill him by now. Oh no…

Aldrick winced in pain and held his cheek. The body he had originally leaned towards Tara now had to sit up straight again. Gosh... That girl's slap hurts. Not consciously or not, Tara's slaps hurt. Meanwhile, Tara immediately moved from her position. Taking a path to quickly escape from Aldrick's anger, but just as he was about to move down from the bed his body was immediately caught by Aldrick and was right on the man's lap at this time. Caught in a tight hug with Tara holding her breath.

"Those hands are real," Aldrick whispered right in front of Tara's face, who closed his eyes deeply. Not daring to look at Aldrick with both hands wrapped around his body which Aldrick hugged tightly.

"You're ashamed of me after remembering what happened last night, huh?" Aldrick teased in a whisper in Tara's ear deliberately exhaling there. Made Tara shudder because of her actions. But he didn't care. Tara needs to be taught a lesson so she doesn't make that mistake again.

Tara shook her head confidently.

"Not really. Get your hands off me now," Tara said without looking at Aldrick and preferring to look the other way. He was embarrassed. Why was Aldrick even trying to make him admit he was wrong now? It wasn't funny when his pride had to look bad here. O,h come on... This guy loves getting into trouble with Tara.

Instead of obeying Tara's words, Aldrick just hugged Tara tighter and didn't let go easily. "Then? Why do you always look away when I talk to you? You know that's rude, don't you? Especially to a husband."

Tara took a deep breath before finally plucking up the courage to turn her head and stare right at Aldrick's blue irises. Holding back so much shame for the sake of his pride not dropping in front of Aldrick. He didn't want to be seen as worse by Aldrick even though he knew that his efforts wouldn't be able to make Aldrick look better than Tara afterward. Tara knew very well she was terrible in Aldrick's eyes.

"I just don't

want to see you," Tara replied nonchalantly. This time she didn't look away anymore. Her two beads met with different meanings.

Aldrick smirked at that. "Are you sure there's no compelling reason to do that?"

Tara shook her head confidently. "Don't try to figure out what isn't there because it never will be."

Aldrick snorted. He wouldn't believe Tara's words when his eyes revealed a real lie. Then? Tara thought Aldrick was a fool for not knowing what he was hiding now? Gosh... Do all women tend to act like self-righteous people when there's something they're trying to hide? Though a smart man will look into his eyes and find out what it is. Exactly what Aldrick saw right now. Oh my... This is funny!

"Let go of me," Tara pleaded with a look she still dared, even though she was very, very embarrassed to face Aldrick right now. But circumstances forced him to ignore the shame for the sake of self-respect.

Aldrick ignored him. He just tightened his grip even more. Making the distance thinner and Tara trying to find a way out. Yes... Aldrick caught all of Tara's panicked looks which looked funny in Aldrick's eyes. Ah, what's with him to think everything about Tara looks cute to him? It's bad!

Aldrick tilted his head with his gaze focused on Tara's luscious lips that had been seductive from the start. No, don't say he'd be tempted by an interest in Tara. Instead, he was tempted because he wanted to make Tara more tormented. Meanwhile, Tara couldn't move. His body seemed to be frozen when his lips felt something moist and springy hitting him again with a heartbeat that felt like it had stopped beating. Their faces are no distance at all with his eyes still bulging in disbelief.

Aldrick was getting more and more tempted because Tara just kept quiet seeing what he was doing. His lips continued to taste Tara's lips who were silent. Not too long, Aldrick came back to his senses and turned his face away. Saw Tara who was staring at him blankly. Aldrick smiled sarcastically at him.
