Chapter 153: End of the world?

A month passed and the military was still moving their things away from Virginia as promised. Structures were torn down and pieces of equipment were moved but there was still a lot more here.

Many feared their absence will lead to the return of the tyrant gang but none of that happened. The current state of the mutant beasts was too risky for any force to remain. In the past month, numerous occasions where mutant beasts forced their way into the safe zones could be heard of all over the world.

Many speculated that they were already growing some sort of immunity to the strange mutant plants and this could be considered bad news for humanity.

Countless third-world countries, less developed and less protected, especially in Africa was on the brink of destruction. Hundreds of thousands of lives were lost in just a month after it began happening.
