history of the demons?

So after crossing the river while fishing up the dead for a proper burial we made it to the kids which the enemy didn't ambush due to them wanting to show their dominance over the tribe it's quite pathetic they don't even know how to do that right. So yeah I was chilling on the side watching them pay respects to their comrades and loved ones something that I, unfortunately, was incapable of I only shed tears for my parents but I never cried even in private I guess you can say that inability of mine is how I'm able to sleep at night. I walked up standing next to the female commander that made a decent performance in the battle she was finishing some sort of prayer before looking at the rest of her people "Hey I never caught your name would you mind telling me?" I asked she stared for a second before she had the realization "oh I never did give my name sorry about that it's Yonaka Kūsho" She said It was a pretty nice name. " What a nice name but I think it's time we move so what's the closest town from here," I asked she pulled out a map"we have to go through the mist lands controlled by the vampires one of the branch offs of our race" she stated "makes sense but I'm pretty confident they'll be a none factor"."That's some confidence you have sir but there not exactly pushovers" I chuckled a bit "there not pushovers? well they're not me I can handle the confrontation but tell me what the full story of your situation like was there a demon king?" I asked since with Isekai which I had time to read there was a usual case at least back on earth, she looked at me strangely like I was uneducated which I was in this situation.

I asked and she gladly answered"there were actually a lot more of us with over 10,000 of us being in an army lead by him we took over 25 villages and united into a mini empire the consequences of our demonic magic showed as the lands became more wild due to our inability to control our aura's at the time the king figured out how to control his first as his affected half the continent making it hard for outside kingdoms to defend against the rise of supernatural creatures and human and demon aura's clashing changed landscapes and made magical zones but after 100 years the world was able to handle our presence however those 100 years 5 human kingdoms had enough of us and researched a way to summon 10 people from another world thanks to the churches of powerful gods and they were able to fight through our forces single handedly which caused panic and our once united race scattered the closer they got the faster we crumbled to settle the people the demon king who's name was Hei wasn't about to let what he'd built crumble so he had one of his best Asher to move out a mile from the heroes camp he possessed one of them and was going to kill them in their sleep but he only managed to kill 3 before the hero managed to regain some control and was shocked by the resolve of the hero to kill himself for having the weakest spiritual fortitude of the rest but it sparked anger in them which Hei knew he couldn't have be unleashed so he met them in a field 1v8 and the fight was so great they supposedly crossed dimensions but King Hei came out on top but before he could finish off the last hero she used the highest their of sealing magic and scattered his power across the world and some say reality as he was so weak that he was killed by a punch through the chest as he crumbled to dust his soul sent to the afterlife everyone split leaving into different areas of the continent and wide world that's what happened the estimated population of our empire was 200 thousand but now no one really knows how many of us survived" she stopped to catch her breath but I heard all I needed to here.

"hahaha oh wow this Hei person was truly one in a billion in this world wasn't he but I vow to do better because I'll make everyone here and the other factions reunited to conquer this entire world we'll be leaving when the sun rises I want to see things in a brighter view that an alright time Yonaka or do you need 2 days to mourn" she looked at me harshly "your a very heartless individual and inconsiderate but no it sounds like a ok time to get ready" I waved her off before jumping in a tree for some shut eye.
