Demolition man.

For a moment we were all at a standstill, gauging each others powers.

Well they were, at least.

I was just spreading my nano swarm around the room and targetting them all with the Godslayer Mk III. I intend to make this a quick clean fight.

More boss battle and less melee.

Unfortunately for them, I am a dark souls boss.

And not in the sense that they can defeat me with a hundred well choreographed pokes to the butt.

In a word. They are fucked.

"Alright ladies.....Are we going to stand around all day or are we going to fight?" I asked.

A question answered posthaste.

Thor flew at me, hammer crackling with lightning, while the warriors three flanked me.

From the back Ebony Maw grabbed me. Or tried.

My auto-defence feature activated and my forcefield cut off his hold over me instantly.

I had learnt from getting force choked all that time in the Star Wars.

And with that psychic tech, I had already upgraded my forcefield to be telekinesis proof.

Now, for the entree.

Without a moment's thought, portals appeared all over the room, blipping into existence at regular intervals, 1 meter apart dialing in the first casualties of the war or as I like to say culling the weak.

Thinning the competition.

The warriors three were bisected, their innards flopping out across the floor while Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive landed on the floor disarmed, quite literally, before Godslayer bolts hit them, dragging them through portals behind them into the Stony Sea Dimension.

Even Thor would have been killed if not for him twisting his body out of the way at the last moment, having witnessed my battle against Hela.

He only ended up with his nose and elbow shaved off.

Still on a collision course with me, I plucked Thor out, mid air, grabbing his hammer in a vice grip before kicking him away into Frigga.

I wasn't going to kill him or any of the royalty just yet. Oh no no.

I wanted them to suffer.

I want to paint the palace with their blood and fill it's halls with the tortured echoes of their shattered souls.

Make it into a haunting reminder of why you should not fuck with me for all to see.

With a solid grip on Thor's hammer, I trapped it in an antigrav field and pressed in, crushing the weapon till it cracked and blew apart in my arms, sending a shockwave across the room rocking the participants off their feet.

"Don't you get tired of getting your ass handed to you?" I mocked snapping behind me wrapping my hand around Loki's neck.

"Seriously. You want to try the same tactic that failed you against me mere months ago? Do you not learn, Loki, fucker of horses?"

"Id wah un dime!" He croaked.

"Suuuure." I smiled with glee, flinging him up into the air as I jumped.

The floor cracked beneath me, I twisted mid air, flinging out my legs at Loki.

A sonic boom sounded out and my kick slammed into Loki's stomach with a sickening squelch throwing him hard against the roof above, cracking the ornate mural based on the lie of Odin's Peace.

The mural began to shatter and fell apart, revealing Hela's conquest as it's pieces landed onto the floor below.

The combatants avoided or in the case of Cull and Ebony just swatted them away, but Thor's eyes wandered, examining the mural closely, his face filled with a conflicted emotion.

"What did you do to the Power Stone?!" Thanos asked, gripping his axe tight, fuming.

"I wonder what?!"

"It's a device he uses!" Odin explained, "It shutters the powers of others, cosmic forces become unwieldy in it's presence. He must have hidden it somewhere....." Odin scanned the room, "....there!"

Odin turned to the side, making for the pillars.

Specifically the pillar behind which I had teleported the Reality Anchor.

Guess he noticed his powers weren't working huh?

Though it was no wonder. He saw me summon a dimension anchor in my fight against Hela. It wouldn't be hard to figure out from that why Hela couldn't use her true powers drawn from Asgard.

Even though this time it was a reality anchor to account for the Power Stone.

No wonder he and Frigga stayed out of the fight till now, as did Thanos.

But...

Ehehehehehe!

You're not breaking that!

I smiled.

With a thought I teleported the Reality Anchor to the roof of the palace.

Can't have it broken.

It's only one of three I have.

And until I make more, I'd rather One Eyed Stan not poke it open with his death stick.

"Where do you think you're going, old buddy, old pal?!" I chuckled, locked onto Odin, and fired off the Godslayer.

Odin looked back up at me, just in time.

Crackathoom!

The ordinance fired from the rail cannon aboard my ship and zoomed through a portal, tearing Odin apart.

I watching his eye drain of life, as the realisation of what happened strikes him, the Godslayer bolt shattering him completely, dragging his mutilated corpse through another portal, crashing it into the Stony Sea Dimension.

Why? Because if I allowed it to hit Asgard, there would be no point to the fight anymore as it would destroy the entire city in a matter of seconds.

And that's no fun!

"Odin!" Freya cried, reaching out into the air as she fell to her knees, sobbing.

"Father...." Thor muttered in disbelief, looking at the blood and guts splattered on the floor, all that remained of Odin now before his gaze, brimming with hatred turned to me.

But that didn't last long as a portal tore off his last remaining arm.

"Ghyaaar!" He screamed in pain, thrashing on the floor as molten gold flowed onto his wpunds, searing them shut.

Frigga snapped out of her grief, and slid over to Thor, grabbing him with shaking hands.

"Wh-what did you do? W-hy? Why us? What did we ever do to you?" She cried.

"Oh please. Don't act all innocent now! You assembled an army to kill me and now you want to play victim?

Remember, those who kill must be prepared to be killed themselves!" I said, my thrusters keeping me afloat in the air.

Behind me I watched Thanos stop the other two leftovers from attacking me, as he watched the drama unfold.

I guess he thinks it's better if his enemies kill each other so he can have it easy?

Good choice!

"You took away everything! Everything!" She wept, as she looked at an unconcious Thor.

"Everything?" I asked.

"Lady, you don't know the meaning of everything.

Watch!"

I just smiled back at her and snapped my fingers as another portal ripped Thor's legs off of him.

"No! Stop! Please! Just stop! We will leave. Is that what you wanted? We will leave! just....Just don't take my son away from me...!"

Ah! The sweet sweet cries of regret.

Delectable.

"Unfortunately.... It's too late now, Lady Frigga. Your husband started this 'war'...." I said making air quotes as I snickered, ".....but I will end it. Like I ended him."

Lady Frigga's eyes turned cold as she turned to Thanos, and gestured at me.

Thanos nodded, signalling his minions to get ready.

Finally!

Let's get some really blood pumping here!

I landed with a thud as Cull Obsidian charged me, Thanos and Frigga finally joining the battle alongside him.

On the side, Ebony peppered my forcefield with debris like the insect he was.

And it was beginning to annoy me.

Too many cooks spoil the broth. And I need to cut down on the combatants a bit more.

I swung out my forcefield, capturing Frigga, while with a telekinetic blast, I sent Thanos flying back into a wall.

Then, I stomped my foot onto the floor, raising the tiles around me angled like a cheval de frise, crushing Cull's charge as he crashed through the marbled stone, his momentum broken.

He stumbled, destabilized and I used the opportunity to slap my palms over his ears, discombobulating him with laser precision.

His eyes glazed over, his knees giving way as I slammed my palm onto his head, and thrust him down to the floor with all my power, sending a shockwave across Asgard with the splattering of his skull.

The palace rumbled and shook at my hit, the floor itself caving in, leaving a bloodstained crater in it's wake as the headless corpse of Cull bounced up for a brief moment from the sheer momentum of the blow before slamming right back down into the crater.

I looked up at the pickaxe he used, falling fast to the ground and with one smooth motion grabbed his swinging pickaxe out of the air, lasering the chains off.

Pivoting on the balls of my feet I spun the pickaxe in my hand, slinging it at Thanos across the room.

Thanos had recover.

He was prepared.

With one swing of his axe he cleaved through the entire bulk of metal sending it clattering to the floor with a thud.

He shaped up again, gripping his axe tight as he circled me.

I followed suit and began to circle him only to run into my own forcefield.

What?!

I snapped to Ebony Maw who was looking over at me with a smug grin.

"Your forcefield can stop my telekinesis from reaching you, but that doesn't mean I can't restrict the forcefield itself!" He preened, with a cackle.

This bastard!

I flicked my wrist, sending out a wave of telekinetic force grabbing him and his measly little psychic power, crushing it instantly under my will.

Color drained from his already pallid squid face, and fear creeped into his eyes like a dark shadow.

I laughed with glee.

Seeing the sheer horror in his eyes at being overpowered with sheer power in his own field if expertise, brought me great joy.

"Impossible!" He cried out, retreating in fear.

"Listen here squidward, through me, everything is possible. Everything. Something I'll make sure you bear eternal witness too." I smiled evilly.

"Focus on your true opponent, Jay-" Thanos said, as he rushed me with a low swing of his axe.

But I was faster.

I flipped around and slammed Thanos back with one hand, sending him skidding across the floor, embedding him into rubble before trapping him in a forcefield bubble too.

With the other I lifted Ebony Maw into the air, twisting his body into gnarled roots of flesh and bone, his screams of pain symphony to my ears, his blood sprouting from him like a dozens of mini fountains, till he was a coiled mass vaguely resembling a tree.

But I wasn't done.

No. I want this day to be a reminder.

To send a message.

And for that, I need a messenger.

Ebony already likes to play the role, talk the talk. So why not make him walk the wal!

With a thought, a portal opened up beside him, and a tentacle snapped to his body from within, healing him while keeping his form.

Another portal soon opened up beside the first one, as a stream of gene editing nanobots flew out, digging into Ebony's flesh.

My power seeped into the nanobots and through them into him and I began to code in the changes I wanted to make to his body.

Maw's arms branched out into hard chitinous appendages growing leaves of blood red, while his legs splintered into tough keratinous roots digging deep into the asgardian soil below as I shaped him into a living tree of flesh, immortal, and near impossible to destroy, forever damning him to this fate. With another thought, I looped his memories of today, and this fight making sure he would continuously recant what he saw here today, like a broken recorder, to anyone and everyone who came here after.

A living reminder of what happens to those who get on my bad side.

So gruesome it would terrify even the Qu, and they turned humans into living toilets.

Though I guess that has to be someone's fetish, so....

I shook my head.

Focus on the task at hand.

I double checked the looping feature before lobotomizing the rest of his brain, partitioning it into two parts.

One to use his telekinesis to form a barrier around him and another to keep him alive, mutated to allow for a very painful form of photosynthesis that would make him feel a deep burning pain inside out every living, breathing moment.

Forever.

Usually, turning someone into a living torture tree, it would take me hours if not days.

With my new A.I. chip and the right set of tools.

It took seconds.

All the while the rest watched in mute horror the atrocity I was committing, frozen to the spot, appalled.

I smiled.

Yes. That is the appropriate reaction.

The reaction I was waiting for as they realize the true horror of what awaits them at the end of this road they have set themselves on.

My grin widened, as I scanned the room, meeting the fearful eyes of the onlookers.

"Now then, where were we? Ah, yes!"

I connected to the ship and aligned another device, snapping my fingers for effect.

A portal opened up behind Lady Frigga and a pink beam shot out, hitting her.

Immediately, her skin began to curl up, turning her whole body inside out, as her organ hung free in the air, save for a thin gelatinous layer of protection.

The Morphizer XE!

Lady Frigga fell to the floor screaming in pure agony, her wails echoing across the now empty palace and I suspect dimly audible even in the rest of the city.

But I wasn't done yet.

With my telekinetic module, I dragged the injured Loki and the nugget that Thor had become before their mother, and pulled out two syringes from a portal.

I snapped my fingers bringing her attention to me as I waved the syringes before her.

"Do you know what this is, Lady Frigga?" I asked, as her muddled eyes focused on the syringes.

"One of them is a healing serum that will save your son's life, even regenerate torn limbs, while the other is a deadly painful disease."

SCP-1007. The Nietzsche Virus.

Of course this wasn't the genuine article. No.

This was a close approximation I had created in my lab, for testing purposes.

It is in some ways even worse than SCP-1007.

Where SCP-1007 caused pain in individuals infected until they died, only marginally increasing their capacity to bear pain, my version, did much more.

No only did it increase the pain with each minute that passed, it also mutated the body to be able to bear that pain more and more, never letting the host die, forever trapped in a cycle of endlessly escalating pain.

Of course, I wasn't going to tell her that. Yet!

I wanted to reveal it later, after she made her choice to completely break her, shatter her to pieces.

"So Lady Frigga, I want you to choose. Choose which son gets to live a life of peace and which one gets to suffer for eternity. Your choice!

Though remember. If you don't choose, I'll infect the both of them with the disease, so don't think nuetrality will save you from this.

You have ten seconds to choose." I grinned evilly.

"Ten.....nine.....eight..." I began to countdown as tears beagn to flow incessantly from her eyes, her speech garbled, her eyes lifeless, cracked.

A woman broken.

But as the countdown neared it's end, she did something unexpected.

Something that instantly drain the torture boner from me, sobering me up in a flash, and made me realise the monster I was becoming.

She gingerly raised a finger, and pointed.....to herself.

Well shit!

I was shaken and I smiled.

No wonder she was called the wise queen.

She found the third option.

"You mean I should infect you instead of them?" I asked.

She solemnly nodded.

Damn.

That.....that choice....fuck!

Fuck! That was...good.

It tugged at my non existent heartstrings.

She was willing to sacrifice herself for her children's safety.

That was a sentiment I could understand, respect even.

Yes. She had earned my respect with that self sacrifice.

It had genuinely moved me.

I made a decision.

I flipped the injections over and threw them back into the portal shutting it close.

"Alright. That choice. I can respect that. I have kids of my own....and that.... that's exactly what I would choose to do for them if I was in your position." I sighed.

She looked over at her kids one last time, realizing what was about to happen, tears flowing rampant from her eyes as she winced in pain.

"If we met under different circumstances, I imagine we could have been on good terms.

Unfortunately, your idiot husband tried to kill me.

And.... I wish I could spare you. I really do.

But it's a matter of principle at this point.

When someone tries to hurt me, kill me even, I make it a point to retaliate a hundred thousand fold. I do not leave loose ends alive.

But in this case....at least, I will let you die a peaceful death."

I undid the forcefield cage and let her fall to the floor gasping for air as I raised my hand at her, firing off a particle beam at her.

The beam hit her and she glowed from the inside, a bright, bright blue as her body began to flake away into flickering motes of energy, floating away in the wind.

"Goodbye, Lady Frigga. You were a good mother. But you chose a shit husband. May your soul rest in peace." I offered a prayer for her.

Then, I turned to Loki and Thor, decapitating both with a portal to the molten gold dimension.

A courtesy to her. I didn't kill her children before her. And I gave them a peaceful death.

With that done, I returned my attention to the last problem left, just as a bright light flashed behind me.

I turned to it and saw Thanos disappear into a rainbow colored beam of energy.

The Bifrost!

Fuck!

Of course!

Stormbreaker can summon the Bifrost even after I disengaged the Bifrost Bridge.

How did I forget that?!

In the first place, shouldn't the reality anchor stop the Bifrost.... unless....the Bifrost isn't magic, but rather technology?!

Shit!

And he had the Power stone with him!
