Girls picnic plan

Two weeks later.....

"He said what?"

"Maira that was the last of all that, I'm never going meet him, or talk to him. I don't believe he lied about us."

"Haity, it's me who don't believe you waited two long weeks to tell me that. It's so exciting and wow." Maira exclaimed excitedly as she threw a bunch of dresses from the slab down on floor of the shop they were in.

"I'm so sorry." She said to the attendant.

"We are meeting after two weeks and you were busy with Saheer and Eirisha and it is not even that important."

"Stop it stop it now. This is one of the most spiced up news I've heard in a long time and we don't know if it's the end yet maybe you'll meet again soon."

"God forbid."

"By the way any updates on Roy? You still seeing him?" Asked Maira, looking through the bunch of jeans on the hooks.

"He's nice and sophisticated, very much untangled,"

"But?"

"But what?" Haity asked, surprised that Maira heard what she didn't say.

"I saw a but coming. He is actually nice, I met him a few times."

"I should stick with him, he might be the one."

"But you are not sure yet?"

"Nooe."

"Let's do something crazy and forget about all the relationships stuff. Aditya is at his parent's with kids and you are practically single."

"I guess so, I haven't had another date with Roy but we text occasionally."

"That's okay, he won't have high hopes from a woman he met once."

"I haven't committed anything either, we just talked about work-

So, what's the plan?"

"Let me think." Maira made a buzzing sound in her throat for a few seconds before speaking again.

"Let's go for movie, now. Then some delicious meal in a restaurant, then I'll have a sleepover at your house tonight while watching love island. Tomorrow morning we do sports, swimming and zumba."

"It's all I need now. These two week were pretty hectic and boring. How about clubbing tomorrow night?"

"Let's get bikinis for- wait."

"What?" Haity asked, startled by sudden burst.

"I wanna go Goa."

"Now? Really?"

"Haity, Aditya have kids for 2 more weeks and I could really use this trip and you too. It's been so long. Come on."

"God Maira I want to say no but it's so difficult."

"Why do you even wanna say no? Let's go I will call Mia and Ishi and ask Noor too, if she wants to join."

"Great idea, only girls time. I'm digging it. I'll call Figsy."

"Figsy ya, she is so much fun. Okay so I'm gonna see what we can watch now after shopping and let's go buy something hot for Goa. I'm so excited."

"Me too. We'll take car drive to Goa."

"My thoughts." Maira and Haity exited the shop with the bags of cloths and bikini plus lingerie for trip to Goa.

The weather was cool and decent which added to their excitement to make this trip, along with that, all girls outing was going to be after more than an year.

They both made it to movie on time but as usual Maira fell asleep in between and Haity had to finish the rest, sitting by, among hardly 10 people in the hall, munching popcorn.

Before waking up Maira at the end, she switched on her phone to peek and boo at her Instagram account.

A message request and a follow one.

Who is that? Haity thought to herself as she clicked the heart icon on her screen and saw the person she wanted to see last at the moment.

"Jeet? What?" Without any other click she went to direct messages and saw message request, it wasn't what she expected. It was some random creep with his creepy smile, who has sent,

"Hi lovely"

For some unknown reason, she was relieved that it wasn't Jeet's message. Maybe he just felt guilty and wanted a stranger friend connection with her.

She remember asking him to reach out if he ever need any help with study or career opportunity suggestions.

Its was probably just that. Haity shook it off and placed the mobile back in her hand bag.

"Maira. Maira, movie is over and your dream too. Wake up now."

"What?" Maira jumped up," Oh no, I'm so sorry Haity."

"Its okay darling, I had it coming." Shall we go?"

Maira and Haity were on their way to Haity's house when Maira groaned in frustration, looking at her mobile,

"Maira put down your phone, you're driving. And what's wrong?"

"Noor was with her friend, that Palak, when I messaged and she saw the text, now she wants to join us on the trip." Maira groaned in frustration again.

"What's the problem? It's fine I guess."

"No Haity, Palak is not fine, she is the worst. Last time she joined our family for dinner and ended up yelling at waiter for colliding with her chair by mistake, he literally had tears in his eyes."

"Oh sounds bad."

"She is, like those rich, big headed jerks."

"Its okay though, we'll have our own independent time. No interruption. Cheer up now. By the way I forgot to tell you," Maira looked at Haity with extreme curiosity.

"You remember that jerk kid Jeet, I wasted my one hour with?"

"Oh God yes. That was such a blooper."

"He want to be my Instagram follower."

"What? Woah. Twist." Maira made wishing sound, chuckling.

"It's not a twist. I'm just surprised he has the audacity to face me after that. I mean he was just what, 19 years old this 3 months ago and had a profile saying 30, which confused me and I did that silly mistake."

"That was too funny. Who make a dating profile to have free food?"

"Jeet do. I guess"

"So you accepted?"

"No I don't want him bugging me with apologies or demand of meal." They laughed at the same time while Maira pulled over in front of Haity's house.

Picking up the shopping bags, they headed inside.

Haity opened the front iron door and Maira stepped inside, into the front yard with a rock table and bamboo chairs placed around it.

"You bought chairs for here? Wow." Maira exclaimed.

"Yes I was tired of moving dining chairs in and out every time I felt like sitting in the yard."

"Good move."

Haity was about to push open the inside wooden doors of house when an unpleasantly familiar voice stroked her eardrums.

"Hey Haity, long time."
