When Mikael's parents finally find her after seven years of relentless searching in the hearth of seattle with a new mum, new life in general, they strike a deal for her to come home with them for a two month duration before making any permanent decision. Vicky was bummed when her name didn’t come out on the list. She and Amelia had been very close friends, they always did everything together even before Natasha began attending the school and came into the picture. 


There was no craze for popularity or backstabbing, nothing.. just the fight to keep up good grades. 


But now lately, everything was about name, or reputation or beauty. Amelia was acting all different, strange even. She didn’t have time to talk to her, she avoided Natasha and all she did was dance, dance, dance. Vicky understood that there was a competition coming up and all but still. 


“Amelia! You got a minute?” Amelia stopped walking and sighed, almost as if she was hoping not to get noticed. 


“I was thinking we could go hang, you know like we used to..with or without Tasha” 


“aww Vicky, I’m sorry, I really am, I can’t ..” Vicky looked like a little child who had a red balloon burst on her.
