"Kerstein, 5 minutes to 3, we should proceed to the boardroom." Aia approached me, causing me to sit straight. I fell asleep for a while. I hurriedly grabbed my mirror and saw myself with a horrifying face. Clarissa and the others went our way. "Head on first, I'll go to the lavatory for a second." I grabbed my bag, then walked up to the said place.

"Be fast, the Head Executive is time conscious, he hates late people the most!" Jenny shouted in my direction while walking. As I entered, not even a single soul was inside. I took a deep breath and looked at the mirror. I washed my face and stared at the mirror for a bit. "I know,"

I sighed; I am messed up; how could I sleep when there is someone important coming. I wiped the water from my face then applied powder and a tint. I grabbed my bag and dashed out to the boardroom with my notes and laptop. As I entered with a creak on the door, everyone stared at me. I lowered my head. I felt extremely uncomfortable that it was hard to breathe. Aia rushed towards me then grabbed my hand.

"Are you fine, Kerstein?" She muttered, lifting my chin and looking directly towards my eyes. She showed me a worried look. I nodded as I removed her hands. She still held my hand, I whispered to her. "Is the Head here?" I questioned, roaming around.

"Fortunately, he's not here yet, the Head Executive Assistant announced that he was stuck in traffic." She explained. "I understand,"

I sighed again in relief. I roamed my eyes again; the Assistant had a confused face in his face as he was talking to someone on his phone; later, the call ended with a frowning face plastered in his appearance. Is something wrong? Will the meeting be canceled?

The Head Executive Assistant then stepped into the podium. "The Head Executive shall be here at 5, something came up according to her secretary." He announced. Everyone was murmuring about the happening. The Assistant then assured everyone. "The meeting won't be canceled, let's calm down first." He stated.

"I suppose everyone had their meeting notes. We should not make any mistakes today." He was declaring, emphasizing each word. He left the podium with a serious look. Aia then whispered to me. "I'll fetch coffee first, would you like to come?" She raised.

"Sure, I feel cramped here anyways." I agreed. "Thank you," Aia grabbed me as she asked me for permission to go outside. They then agreed. She went to the cafeteria while I headed for the vending machine; Aia wanted actual coffee.

As I was about to drink, a man approached me looking dashing and structured. He had his black hair down, fixed, and was not messy. It was enough for me to see his bewitching Jade Green eyes. He was wearing business wear, with a polo and a lemon-colored vest on top. I was stunned. It was the first time I saw a man so handsome than ever. He then stopped in front of me.

"Do you perhaps work here, Young Lady?" He had a deep voice. "I'm no Lady, Mister. I'm a regular office worker here." I replied. I smiled in my head that I did not stutter or hid after meeting a new face.

"Oh, I see, Miss?" He questioned, gesturing a handshake as he asked for my name. "Kerstein, Kerstein Wijndelts." I accepted his handshake, he then smiled.

"Miss Wijndelts, perhaps you can do me a favor." He started as he snapped his finger. A man then, almost as tall as he approached the scene. The man took a file for the briefcase; he handed it to him. "Please bring this file to the boardroom, you're currently having a meeting right?" He questioned.

As he gave me the file, I noticed a seal in the part where you open the file. It had a House design with eagle details. If I am not mistaken, it is the seal of The House Of Common of Ylury. "This is confidential, don't open it. Just bring it to the Head Executive Assistant." I was confused if this was confidential; why would he trust me if we just met. It may be a file that contains various information; he should go to the Assistant personally. He just chuckled. I was taken aback. "Oh, forgive me. Your face just shows it all. I can't personally deliver that file because I am a busy man, also you'll know later on." He uttered. I just nodded in return.

"Well then, I shall take my leave, it is a pleasure to meet you, Kerstein." He said, shaking my hand again. He turned around as he walked to the doors. However, as he was halfway outside, he stopped as raised his hand, still facing back. "I trust you with the file, Miss Wijndelts. See you soon." He stated enough for me to hear it. What does he mean by See you soon?

Oh right, I did not ask for his name; I was about to ask him, but it was too late; he was already hopping in his car. I was mesmerized by his beau; I even forgot to ask for his name. I sighed. I looked back at my coffee, then drank it until the last sip. It was a pain. Aia then arrived.

"What took you so long?" I inquired. "The barista was- Oh where did you get that? Let me see." She was commenting about the barista, but she stopped as soon as she saw the file. She was reaching for the document, yet I ticked her hand away.

"Ouch! That hurts, Kerstein. Look my hands are red, you can say no if it's a big no." She retorted. I just sighed. "Let's go back, I have to bring this to the Head Executive Assistant." She just pouted.

As we entered, I went in the Assistant's direction. He looked at me with a frowning face. As he saw the file, I immediately gave him the document, to be more specific, the seal rather. His hand was shaking, and sweat started to form on his forehead.

He looked at me with a horrified face, then stood up. "Everyone, go back to your stations! You follow me!" He ordered. Everyone rushed towards the exit. Aia was looking at me with her eyes widened. I just nodded in reassurance. "This is an order from the House Of Commons!" He exclaimed, shaking. Something is not right.
