Chapter 50: A arrival (part 2)
Kipo and Niora were walking in the snow, they were heading to the lake to get food for Aya.
Kipo : no way she did that.
Niora : it's all true....she just jumped on unknown's back and he started running with her....and he had no choice but to run....he's her servant too....at least he enjoyed it though.
Kipo laughed.
Kipo : I don't why....but I feel bad to be the only wonderkid that has parents so far.....you two deserve to know what it's like to have a father and a mother.
Niora : well...I had unknown with me growing up....and Zet had Karen.
Kipo : maybe you're right about unknown....but Zet didn't have anyone growing up....he lived on his own since he was 12....now he's 17.
Niora : didn't he have Sarah ?
Kipo : not as someone who loved him by any chance....when they lived together they didn't really care for each other...they just survived.
Niora : I mean....what could we possibly do for him anyway ?.....I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to see his parents....that is if we somehow found a way to find them.
Kipo : there has to be a way we can find his parents....they're out there somewhere.
Niora : look...this looks like a good idea I know...but not with Zet....it's better if you don't do this one.
Kipo : what do you mean ?
Niora : we both know that Zet is unexpectable....he might want to see them or he might not....if we make it a surprise they might end up dead if they see him....we can't know...so it's just better if we don't try in the first place.
Kipo : then what...I don't want to keep him this way.
Niora : you saw Zet before he was with you right ?
Kipo : yes.
Niora : and you saw him after he became your boyfriend.
Kipo : yeah.
Niora : how much changed in him ?
Kipo : a lot....he was barely talking to people...he never smiled an actual smile out of happiness....he never cared about anyone...not even himself.
Niora : and now....does he have any of these things left in him ?
Kipo : no.
Niora : and the reason is you....he told you this before....and I saw it too....I know who Zet was even if I didn't see him before....you changed him for the better....he's not asking for a parent....all that he wants is you and he's happy with you....the point of what I'm saying....you don't need to change what's already good.....you can't know whether it will get better or become worse.
Kipo : a while ago....when we first dated....we both thought that one of us is doing more than the other and that it's bad to have this.....then we agreed that we're both doing just as much for each other....but now I'm feeling the same thing again...I don't know if you noticed....but he's doing way more for me than what I'm doing for him....and I don't like it.....everyone keeps telling me to stop trying and just be with him....and that's all he wants.
Niora : but that is true....
Kipo : I know it is....but It's not enough for me.....I want to do him something that will be as big as the things he does for me.
Niora : ok ?....when is his birthday ?
Kipo : he doesn't have one.
Niora : what ?....no birthday ?
Kipo : yeah....he has no idea about anything from his birth.
Niora : well I was going to tell you to make him a huge birthday party....but I guess no.
Kipo : wait...I have an idea....how about we find out his real birthday and his parent's names.....you know...his origins.
Niora : see now you're thinking safe....this is better...but how ?
Kipo : Karen must know something.
Niora : ok....and what are you getting for his birthday ?
Kipo : um....I'll think of something later...but for now...I will ask Karen when we get back.
They have reached the lake.
Niora : alright...
Niora took off her clothes.
Kipo : wow...I didn't know you're strong too.
Niora : again....Zet is not the only warrior here....and not the only one who works out from time to time.
Kipo : of course you're just like Zet.....
Niora opened a hole and dived in the ice lake.
Kipo waited, she was looking around alone, she started to get creeped by the silence surrounding her.
After minutes, Niora came back up, but there was no fish in her hands.
Kipo : what happened ?
Niora : I can't find any.....there are no fish here.
Kipo : maybe because you're on the wrong side of the lake ?
Niora then got out and jumped somewhere else into the lake as she broke the ice, moments after she came back up.
Niora : nothing...I know that there is no lake with no fish.....right ?
Kipo : I don't know....ugh....maybe Zet should've done this.
Zet then showed up with Ron and Aya.
Zet : you're right...I should've done this myself....because you two apparently have no idea what you're doing.
Niora was getting out of the lake.
Niora : of course we...
Zet : no no no DON'T get out of the lake....*sigh* Niora did you ever hunt fishes in a frozen lake ?
Niora : do you think a queen usually does that ?....I only hunted some wolves.
Zet : of course you didn't....and that's why you're not finding any fish.
Kipo : why did you come here ?
Zet : you took too long....don't think I'll stay and wait.
Kipo : it's been like 30 minutes !
Zet : yeah...that's a lot.
Kipo : fine....so what are we doing wrong ?
Zet : remember when I hunted for fish...I asked you to make a hole with your claws for a reason.
Niora : huh ?
Zet : if you need to find fishes in the water you have to be as calm and quiet as them.....make a hole silently...instead of stupidly diving in the water.....you scared them off.
Kipo : oh....yeah that makes sense.
Kipo then used her claws to open a hatch in the lake, the ice circle slowly sank.
Zet and Ron then turned around.
Zet : alright....now Niora....get out and gently dive in the hatch....and don't make any noise....you already made enough.
Niora got out and did what Zet told her.
Zet : see why I do this on my own ?
Kipo : I don't care....you're not going alone.
Niora then got out of the water with multiple fish.
Niora : here.
She then threw the fish in front of Aya, Ron grabbed them and started feeding her.
Zet : ok...now use your powers to dry yourself before you put your clothes back on.....you've been under the water for a while.
Niora then used the wind to remove the water from her body, she then wore her clothes back on.
Zet : you done ?
Niora : yeah.
Zet : ok....now I need you to hug me.
Niora : say what now ?
Zet : come on....your temperature dropped down...if you don't want to get sick...you need to hug me.
Niora then sighed as she came closer to Zet and hugged him, he used his power to heat her.
Niora : ooh....this feels nice.
Niora then hugged him tighter.
Zet : hey hey....don't get too comfortable....this is not a portable heater.
Kipo then came and hugged him.
Zet : seriously ?
Kipo : what....it's cold.
Zet : *sigh* fine....
Kipo : Ron ?
Ron : no thanks...I think I'll be fine here.
Kipo and Niora were still hugging Zet.
Zet : any day now...
Kipo : shh....just shut up and let us enjoy this.
Zet : you got 5 more minutes.
Niora : sounds good enough.
Ron : aww....you guys look cute....like a family.
Zet : yeah....a portable heater and two girls hugging it....really cute.
Kipo and Niora laughed.
Kipo : come on....we both know that you won't allow us to do this if we don't need it.
Zet : you're my girlfriend....you hug me all the time.....this is only for Niora.
Kipo : yeah....but you don't use this ability.....last time you did this was when we came here...I wasn't even with you yet.
Zet : am I supposed to know when you are cold ?....just tell me I'm cold....it really doesn't take anything from me to do it.
Niora : then why the hell I can't stay.....it's really comfortable.
Zet : no....this is only exclusive to Kipo...oh yeah...2 minutes left.
Kipo : don't worry...Las Vistas has pretty warm weather.....you won't need this again.
Minutes have passed.
Ron : alright....should we go now ?
Zet : yes....we're ready....you two can get off me now.
They got back on Aya's back, she then flew up in the sky again, they were ready to continue.
Later...
It's 9 PM, Aya was flying over the snow mountain chains, Niora and Ron were asleep, while Kipo was lying on Zet's chest as they were looking at the sky full of stars.
Zet was looking at the stars in silence, Kipo saw him.
Kipo : thinking about something ?
Zet : hm ?....uh no no...I'm just....when I look at the stars I remember that I have many reasons to live this life....that I have a reason to fight for it.
Kipo : yeah they are beautiful....but what I love most about stars is how they never show up until darkness surrounds them.
Zet : you know...I wonder where would we be if we weren't wonderkids....or if we were wonderkids but before the animals mutated.
Kipo : if we were wonderkids 200 years ago we'd probably be hiding it from everyone.
Zet : huh ?...why ?
Kipo : as a normal reaction for a human to see a guy that can shoot lightning strikes out of his hands....they would freak out....so we'd have to hide our powers to live a normal life.
Zet : imagine if we went to the same school.
Kipo : well I mean....we are both born and live in LV....so it is a common thing to happen.
Zet : no...I wasn't born in LV.....I don't know where I'm from but I'm pretty sure that I'm not American.
Kipo : please tell me you're French...
Zet chuckled.
Zet : why French ?
Kipo : I know that France is romantic.
Zet : no...I don't think I'm French.
Kipo : do you have any countries in mind ?
Zet : from what I look like...I'd say I'm somewhere from Asia...like Japanese maybe.
Kipo : if you were Asian...how the hell did your parents get you here ?....to the other side of the world.
Zet : huh...that's actually a good question...maybe I was born here like an American Asian...oh well...not that we'll know.
Moments passed as they were looking at the sky, then an aurora borealis started happening, Kipo gasped with excitement.
Zet : oh yeah....it can't get any better than this.
Kipo : every time this happens...I remember the best moment of my life so far.
Zet : let me guess...
Kipo : yes....the moments were I finally....and after so many tries....kissed you.
Zet : so I have a question about that.
Kipo : hm ?
Zet : when that happened...you were about to kiss me...why did you stop and just back out ?
Kipo : it's because I tried before and it ended up badly...I wanted to love you but if it never happened I'd still want to be your friend.
Zet : look....no matter what happens with me and you...I want you to know that I will always be with you...as a boyfriend or as a friend....you can't get rid of me.
Kipo chuckled.
Kipo : alright....good to know.
Zet : but....since it is your favorite moment....we can recreate it.
Kipo : you just want to kiss me don't you ?
Zet : alright....sure...let's just sit here and...
Kipo : fine...
Zet then kissed her as she hugged him, they spent moments in this one.
Zet : by the way yes...I just wanted to kiss you.
Kipo : so quick question...will it take a long time till I kiss you again...or even hug you ?
Zet : you're talking about when we come back ?
Kipo : yeah.
Zet : I don't know....but I want this as much as you do....guess we both have to wait a bit...is it ok ?
Kipo : no it's not....but fine...I don't want to push you to do something you don't want to do yet...you will eventually...I know you will.
Zet : and that's another reason added on the list of why I love you.
Kipo : huh ?
Zet : that you're understandable...we both know that I'm literally being a coward right now....and you're fine with it...thanks.
Kipo chuckled.
Kipo : I don't know if this is considered flirting....but I really like it.
Zet : you like it when someone tells you what they think of you ?
Kipo : no...when you do that...a lot of people keep saying that I'm a good person and all...but out of everyone...you're the only one that knows who I am...the good and the bad in me...you know that I'm a reckless fireball when I'm angry....and that I'm kind of controlled too much by my emotions...these things is what you know...not others.
Zet chuckled.
Zet : one time I heard a saying...it's a beautiful one...."perfect is not what seems to be right for everyone, perfect is what you see the best and what you don't want to become better"...I don't want you to be perfect...I have so many flaws too....I want you just like you are...beautiful...cute and the opposite of me.
Kipo smiled.
Kipo : yup....I think I just found it.
Zet : hm ?
Kipo : this is your way of flirting.....and I'm telling you It works.
Zet : does this mean I'm good at flirting ?
Kipo : you're amazing at it.
Zet : YES !....I'M GOOD AT SOMETHING SOCIAL !
Kipo : keep it down....they are sleeping right there.
Zet : sorry...got a bit too excited...I'm actually good at something social...it's a huge achievement !
Kipo : you know....I think I have a list of why I love you too.
Zet : pfft...no you don't.
Kipo : I do...I'll give you 2...first...you do not know how good you are at talking to people....you're just really good at advising others and listening to them....whenever I'm angry or sad I'll just come to you because I know that you'd know what to say to make me feel better....and second....it's how easy it is for you to change....you've been that little kid that was really scared of everything.....and then you became a ruthless warrior that can use lightning....and now you're changing again....you're not the same person I first met before....you're just way better....you helped so many people...they idolize you because they know that you are a hero....and I'm one of them...I consider you a hero too.
Zet looked at Kipo and smiled, she looked back at him.
Kipo : hey...I know this smile.
Zet : then you know that I'm speechless right now...actually...hold on...
He stood up.
Zet : ok...I want you to close your eyes and not open them until I tell you.
Kipo : ok ?....what are you going to do ?
Zet : it's a surprise....trust me...
Kipo closed her eyes, while Zet jumped off and started flying in the air, he went far ahead from where they were flying, he then used his powers to draw in the sky a heart in front of Aya, after minutes, he was done, he came back on Aya's back.
Zet : alright...open your eyes.
Kipo then saw a lightning heart drawn in the sky, she was astonished, Aya then went through it.
Kipo : I....
Zet : wait wait....it's not done.
Kipo then looked behind her at the heart, suddenly it disappeared as her name started spilling in the sky, she opened her mouth in amazement.
Zet started laughing with happiness.
Zet : surprise....
Kipo then looked at him.
Kipo : you....you just wrote my name in the sky...
Zet : did you like it ?
Kipo's eyes were widened, she started tearing in happiness.
Zet : are you crying ?
Kipo : no...
Kipo started crying, Zet then came closer and hugged her.
Zet : I love you.
Kipo couldn't reply.
Zet looked at her face, she was crying with happiness that she couldn't talk, he chuckled.
Zet : wow...you really liked this one huh ?
Kipo nodded as she hugged him, her hair was glowing.
Zet : ok...I'll leave you to it.
Zet let moments pass as he hugged her tightly.
Zet : I think we should sleep now.
Kipo was still hugging him, she didn't reply.
Zet : come on.
Zet then carried her and lied down, Kipo slept on Zet's chest while hugging him as he closed his eyes, to end his day.

Karen was in her house, and suddenly her door opened, she looked at who it was, it was Roza and Jamil.
Jamil : hello...Karen.
Karen : Sanji....been a while huh ?
Sanji : yeah...been a long....hateful...while.
Karen : and who's she ?
Sanji : oh...where are my manners...I want to introduce you to my girlfriend...her real name is also Roza...I picked it myself.
Roza glowered at Karen with no words.
Karen : so....care to tell me how you know how to shape-shift and use ice ?
Sanji : well...not to make it a surprise to you but....you do realize that master survived that day too right ?
Karen : Earl survived....not even surprised.
Sanji : it's master Earl...
Sanji got his ice Katana.
Karen : let me guess...he gave you ice powers and made her ?
Sanji : huh...correct...not bad...but even on his own he needed someone's help...someone you unfortunately...will never get to meet.
Karen giggled.
Roza : do you see something funny ?
Karen : in fact...I do...it's how pathetic you are...he needs you as his one and only shadow kid left to serve him....and he made a girl out of what...mud and fingernails ?....just to satisfy you enough to use you.
Roza started getting angry, she pulled out multiple razor blades through her hand.
Karen : huh...I was correct...fingernails...
Roza then attacked Karen, Karen knew that this was her last moment, Roza stabbed her in her heart, she started bleeding out, waiting for her death to come.
Sanji : now...I know that you'll tell Zet about this somehow...I'm actually impressed that he survived...so please...tell him that Sanji and Roza are coming for you and your little girlfriend.
Karen's heart stopped beating, she closed her eyes on last time, Karen died.
