We're home

"Do you think it's luck that they took everything away from me?"

"Yes. It's your luck."

Adelard laughed out loud. "What am I supposed to do now?"

"What would you like to do? Tell me, what would you like to start doing?"

"I want to read a book. Your book. And then, I'd like to paint a picture."

"You want to read my book?"

"If you don't mind."

"Do you want to get to know me better?" This question made Adelard nervous. His heart began to beat fast again, oblivious to the pain. And the faster it beat, the faster the pain left his soul.

"Yes," Adelard said, blushing.

"Well, all right, then. I'll let you read one of my books."

"Thank you," Adelard said and more questions appeared in his eyes. Percival could read those questions and he answered one of them, "Don't worry. You will live with me now. Where else? As if you had anywhere else to go. You will live in my beautiful house. Of course, it's not the palace you're used to. But still, it can be cozy."
