In the old days, tales of heroes and gods were simply regarded as myth. They were stories that only entertained and inspired.

A Tale of Adventure

"This... What exactly are you going to be doing in that period?" Leo was dumbfounded that the Mage Alliance implemented such a harsh condition for accepting newcomers. 


"I've only heard that it will involve various trials." He proceeded to list things off using his fingers, "Going through a private training regiment alongside one's personal master, being tested on magical prowess and talent, and whether or not the apprentice is truly suitable to be inducted in the organization's ranks. 


"The first couple of weeks when I joined was to get me familiar with living in their headquarters, while also being monitored for any signs that I was a potential traitor. Once all of that was completed, I would then be eligible to apply for the initiation-- something which my stringent master has already submitted on his own volition." 


After concluding that last statement, the features on Austin's face became noticeably downcast.
