Elspeth: Queen of Wolves

Kalish and Chika spend spend some time together and exchanged information between them before she left the room to go get another group for a raid.


Chika realized that Kalish is an elf and healing is her specialty. She's been assisting in raids for two years now.


"She's a pretty girl," Chika giggled as she remembered Kalish's adorable face.

Chika looked at the screen and when she clicked it, a key dropped in her hands. It's old and rusty with a White gem at the top.


"Forest under the oak tree," She whispered with a straight face, "I don't know where that is!?"


On the next day, Chika set out to buy some weapons to protect herself. She only knew some moves but it's not enough to be confident.


She went ahead and buy a sword but as she swings it, her body can't adapt to the weight causing her to fall.


The shopkeeper helped her with an awkward face while scratching his head. Chika's face blushed in a pink hue due to the embarrassment as she handed the sword back to the shopkeeper.


The shopkeeper nodded and gestured for Chika to follow him, they went to the aisle of daggers and other small weapons that can be carried in travel.


Chika grabbed a dagger but she still find it uncomfortable to use. She went ahead and look for more when her eyes caught something in the far corner of the room. It was covered with dust and seemed unattended.


"Those claws are similar to eagles, strong and sharp and also lightweight," The shopkeeper said with enthusiast as he grabbed the dusty crystal box and wiped it off to reveal the weapon.


"They are beautiful, can I try it?" Chika asked with her eyes glistened with excitement.


"Sure! Ah, I never thought someone would be interested with my babies, it's been 5 years," The shopkeep teared up as he cleaned the claws carefully since it's very sharp that it even cut the cloth.


The shopkeeper carefully placed it in Chika's tiny hand and adjusted the screws to fit her size.


Chika's mouth hung open as she gaze at the claws. It became one of her fingers and followed every movement she makes.


"Oh, maybe you'll like this too. I created this after that claws." The shopkeeper went to grab something below the counter to reveal another crystal box with the same weapon but for the feet.


"I styled it similar to wolf claw for better agility while running." The shopkeeper went ahead and put it on Chika's feet in the excitement that he even throw her old shoes. They fit perfectly to Chika as if it's made for her.


"These are lovely, how much for all of these claws?" Chika asked while taking out her pouch full of coins. Kalish gives her a cut from money for defeating the tower raid.


"What!?" Chika couldn't help but scream due to shock because of the price, it's hella expensive compared to the mos weapons sold in stores.


"Both claws are made with fine materials from the dragon's teeth and were coated with phoenix blood," The shop keeper tried to explain when seeing the hesitation of Chika, "I could give it 800 Leden to you."


Chika looked at the inside of her wallet, she only have a total of 850 Leden coins with her. She was about to reject the offer when a screen popped out in front.

Chika handed 800 Leden coins to the shopkeeper who is full of joy as he packed the claws for her while Chika is crying on the corner because she was broke.
