Bean and the Pendant

"Ugh, these shoes…" Chika grumbled as she looked down at her foot that is starting to feel pain if it wasn't for her wolf that helped her from time to time.

Chika was busy adjusting her feet when a shadow loomed her body and when she looked up, she saw Arius looking down at her with his stormy eyes looking at her.

Arius extended his hand for Chika to reach.

Chika blinked her eyes and shyly put her hand over Arius as a spark ignite on their skin. Arius pulled her up as he called for a carriage that was passing them. He helped Chika climb over the stairs before he followed behind.

"Thank you," Chika said softly as she became shy.

"You should have told me that you're not comfortable with that kind of shoes. After all, we have a long way to go." Arius stated as he turned his head away from Chika.

"O-okay," Chika replied and saw the redness on Arius's ears.
