Chapter 43 Conflicted part 1

As it maybe a smal group of imperial special it maybe nothing….but to David it means a whole lot of other things regardless

David is at the captains quarters

David : captain we have to do necessary measures to prevent anything-

Rebel captain : did you see any soldiers at all?

David : no but they are all imperial specia-

Rebel captain : then get back to work I don't have time for this I need to focus on our currency

David :... okay

David returns to his troops and informs them about the stubbornness of the captain

David : okay people listen up the captain isn't listening and it's a problem ,major fucking problem

David : for now we keep alerted , until then we need to guard the villagers

Few days later

As days that went on David and his unit have been in Constance attack by the empires special units as little to no rest David and his unit stood vigilant

As for the captain his orders were not exactly smart and some are selfish

The rebels have been guarding him nonstop under the order of the captain , the rest are not sure what to do but the food supplies within the village grown thinner

David right now all he can do is provide as much food for the villagers as much as possible although it'll be hard feeding hundreds of civilians

David : come on people let's keep these people fed

David : rin keep on making spaghetti

Rin : yes !

David : haruto come on keep up the paste more cutting the fruits !

Jun : here you go

Male villager 1 : thank you very much I don't know how we can thank you people

Jun : we're here to help after all

David (thinking) : theirs a lot of people we need to keep fed what the hell is the captain even doing

David (thinking) : he haven't even came out of that fucking tent of his since the attacks

David (thinking) : I keep noticing all the food keeps going to the captain and rebels have little to eat

David : you guys doing fine ?

Female rebel soldier 1 : to be honest were barely even holding on

Male rebel soldier 1 : the captain has been in his quarters for a while some of our guys have been doing what we can helping the villagers

David : it haven't been easy not even with that captain

Male rebel soldier 1 : no the only thing he cares is about his safety , no one else's and besides we have to throw away his waste

David : …..

David (thinking) : the captain needs to take action other wise the soldiers they have are about to fall apart .

As someone spoke

Unknown voice : hello are you the one that has been feeding my people ?

David : yes I have and you are ?

Male Chieftain : I am the cheftain of the village there's some matters we'd like to discuss about the situation

David follows the cheiftan to his home to talk about the captains behavior

Male chieftain : I'm sorry to other you on this duty but it's something we must tell about that particular captain

David : what is something that bothers you chieftain?

Male chieftain : the captain is not qualified to be in charge of his men

As David looks at the chieftain with a serious look

David : be careful on what you say sir

Male chieftain : did I say it in a wrong way ?

David : to me it feels like you want me to take charge of his men

Male chieftain : in my peoples eyes you seem to be caring those that aren't with and you've always been on guard no matter what

David : where I come from we care for each other and train no matter how harsh it is and that how my guys are still alive

Male cheiftan : I see but please let me tell you about her captains behavior been

Male cheiftan : he's been demanding more food from us for the past several days but we're nearly out of food

Male cheiftan : and the most important part he will not take responsibility of what he does he'll most likely blame it one you

David : that their is no doubt he will

Male cheiftan : no matter we will have a say in this no matter what you have our word

Until rin came in

Rin : sir !

David : what is it ?

Rin : it's something you have to hear

As they make there way to the tiger M where someone from the rebel army that happens to be a scout

Jun : sir the scout has important information you should hear

Jun : tell him what you told us

The rebel scout was nervously eager mostly he was slightly worried

David : I'm listening

Rebel scout 1 : thanks

Rebel scout 1 : I've been to the neighboring villags to the east and the sources I've heard and the visits

Rebel scout : that the imperial army are coming

David : mmhmm

Rebel scout : the villagers are not happy …(deep breath & quick exhale)

Rebel scout : they are complaining about the food shortage and the security

Rebel scout : the captain that tried to make a deal with them ….(deep breath& quick exhale)

Rebel scout : everything didn't go well and the captain lost the entire worth of our pay and nearly out of food

Rebel scout : (deep breath & quick exhale) everything it's completely ruined …but my source that they are coming here

David : how many we are talking about ?

Rebel scout : I don't know a lot

David : does the captain know

Rebel scout : …Of course he does!

Rebel scout : I kept telling home we should retreat and evacuate the civilians but he yelled at at me

Rebel scout : and saying I'm just adding pressure to him and the soldiers but they need to know that we're in deep shit!

David makes post haste to the rebel captain own tent to confront him on the decision that was made by him without any consent

David : you have been making deals with the villagers and on top of that captain the money

David : why?

Rebel captain : I am your superior officer and you will lacsure me and try to tell mehow I need work on my duty

David : …..

Rebel captain : my order is absolute understood , whatever I say you listen and your priorities to keep me alive

David looks at the captain and tells him

David : with all do respect but I believe we should let kana know what exactly is happening-

Rebel captain :at least we should do is lessen the burden for her

David (thinking) : this mother fucker gonna get us all killed !

David act on defiance of his order and say

David : maybe our orders from the general is clear to everyone..we're not here to protect your ass only , we're only here to help protect the mission

David walks away but the captain was fury's with David

Rebel captain : you foreign bastard I'll have you arrested! , when we get back !

Rebel captain : you hear me !! ARRESTED!!
