67 THINGS FALL APART

Eric looked down at Paul, he could see he looked sleepy already, "Oh yes, sure she will—let's go home, Paul. Dralex will be fine." He nodded at Prislla, "Send the medical bill to me and I will do the transfer, okay—" 

"Okay, Eric." Prislla forced a smile as she watched them go out of the hospital. When they later drove out, she felt so alone—alone and waiting for Dralex's discharge.

She felt like crying, she felt tears in her eyes, but she knows she has to do one thing—to be strong for Dralex.

Two days have gone by already and Dralex is yet to believe what had happened to her. She can't believe she has a child in her belly. The more she thought about it, the more she thought about how she was going to be a mother at her age.

Tears ran down her cheek from her eyes. She looked at her face in the mirror and later on sat down on a chair near the window side. She stared at the chair she sat on, a chair that have become more like a comfort to her.
