81 A SIN THING

Eric began slowly but was careful in selecting his words. He doesn't want Leo to feel so bad staying away from Jane at this time. "I saw Jane with a man she called her business partner. They were kissing and sucking their lips and—"

"Jesus Christ! That's a sin. Are you sure about that pastor Eric?"

"I am positive about that Bishop; she wanted to make a fool of me. I am not kidding, Bishop. She had on a transparent dress that revealed her nakedness before the man. I wanted to let you be aware of what's going out here, that's all. I cannot see that sin thing in your home, and I close my eyes to it—"

"I have heard you Eric, and I will be back in three days, but that depends on how soon I get the document—" The line went cold once more.

"Okay, Bishop Leo." Eric finally responded, he knew Leo was burning the inside of him but wanted to be calm about it.

The phone call ended, and it was obvious Bishop was unhappy. Eric could sense it in his tone.
