-chapter Ten-
Scott followed Alex as he walked towards his car. They entered and Alex drove off.
After sometime, as they were a distance away from the house, Alex stepped on the brakes. He pulled the car to a stop and stared at a distance. He saw Scott expression and how his face was flushed red but pretended as if he didn't. "Why was your face flushed red?, don't even think of pursuing Stella because as you can see your brother is head over heels for her, there are many other girls around." Alex warned.
Scott was speechless at his assumption, he nodded his head and said okay. He turned his head towards the window and stared outside. 'You said you know me more than anybody, yet you don't know about my feelings for you' he thought as he smiled at himself mockingly. He was hurt by his assumption, even though he was oblivious About his feelings but can he not push him to another girl. It hurts like hell.
"I will be dropping off at Dawn's apartment." Scott said.
"Oh, ok"
Alex did not notice the change in Scott's expression. He started the car and drove towards Dawn's apartment.
Dawn White is a childhood friend of Scott, they attended the same school and we're best of friends. Dawn was the third person who knows him the most. She is a very reliable and cheerful person who always cheer him up when he is down.
Through out the ride Alex was silent. he knows Dawn is the closest friend Scott got, he didn't want to comment. But the idea of a boy and girl together in an apartment alone, even if it was just for an hour pissed him off and especially when that boy is Scott.
As they got to the apartment Scott came out from the car, before he could say thank you, Alex drove off without taking a glance at him. Scott stared at the car which was at a distance already and smiled mockingly at himself. He turned towards the apartment and saw Dawn who was about going out, looking at him with an expression he didn't like especially not from her. Without glancing at her he entered her apartment.
Dawn looks at her friend who has a sad and mocking expression on his face. She knows he was mocking himself for liking such a heartless person.
Scott walked inside and fell flat on the couch. Dawn followed him and sat at the side of the couch.
"Having a bad day this early" she asked.
Scott did reply as he closed his eyes and rested his head.
"Ok, I assume you are not hungry and in case you are there is food on the fridge. l have a client to attend to, so I might be back late." Dawn said
Scott eyes were still closed, so Dawn decided to go because he needed some time alone. She was indeed the first person to know Scott was in love with Alex, she advised him to confess his feelings but he declined Everytime.
