Chapter 15: Redemption and Forgiveness

Mia was so tired that day, and to think that she is only half way through the day.

'I'm dying' she said as she drag herself to the cafeteria to eat lunch. She really needs the energy. From the moment she left Blake's office, all of her seniors have been very vocal about missing her,

They dragged her to different programs and locations introducing her to all of the new people which is also to her advantage, the faster she could get accustomed to change the more she could easily get her job done.

She just hates the feeling of being a newbie.

"Need to pay for your vacation" she suddenly heard what Max told her the other night when they were talking about going back to work. She just sighed and went to the counter to get some food and go back to her studio. She have a lot of materials that she needs to process.

Blake also made sure that she won't have any time to dilly dally. She still have a live program to prepare later this afternoon. She's just hoping that she could get through this day without any problem.

"Are you sure that this won't be a problem Kevin? She managing well on the backgrounds she should have stayed in the background. We will not gain anything from this" a man who is in his 60s is currently at Kevin's office and talk to him regarding Mia's sudden comeback.

"I know what I am doing and it won't matter if she returns now. Beside these will be a temporary measure. We both know that sooner or later this needs to happen" Kevin rebutted.

The old man can't say anything but look at Kevin with all doubts. "I'm going to let you do your thing this time son, but if we see that this will do something to our plans, we shall act accordingly, let's not waste our efforts when we are near the end okay?" Kevin can only then nod in agreement.

The old man then stood up and bid farewell, Kevin then also stood up and bid farewell

As soon as the old man left Kevin can only stare at the window and sigh. "How did I even get into this mess" and just sighed again.

'I need Mia's plan needs to work for everything to go back the way they used to be' then he continued to work on some of the paper works that was sitting on his table.

"So you are basically telling me to die isn't it Blake?" Mia's day just got more eventful.

After the endeavor at the cafeteria and two news program, Mia was suddenly called to the main building's conference room. And she knows that it is going to be troublesome to her.

She sat down next to Blake and informed her that she will be handling this program. A new variety program. In addition it is going to be with a newbie PD.

Didn't she say that she hates newbie?

"Yeah basically, compensations for your 4 years" Blake just look at her with a very playful eyes. He really loves giving this girl a hard time.

Blake can tell that she really missed the job and even though he's been giving her a workload, she's just doing it with a lot of complain. That's why he asked the whole gang to let her be up and going with all the current projects and new personnel that she needs to work with, all within the day.

"I get it but please give me a break, I just got out of vacation" Mai also said jokingly to Blake.

"Nice to meet you, I am Lance Gregory, the PD of this show. It is nice to be working someone my age" Mia doesn't like the air that this man is giving but she can't pick out the people she's going to work so

"Hope we finish this project without any hitch" Mia then just shook his hands "Meeting tomorrow at 10 same place" Lance informed Mia and went his way.

"Alright" then she went back to work. She still got a live program to do.

"Just what is it that you want Kevin?" Terrence is currently in Kevin's office.

"Isn't what happened 4 years ago enough? Just when are you going to stop?" he really can't believe that Kevin is still keeping up with this.

"I just need you to stay put Terrence. Okay? You can't do anything in this situation so just let me do what I need to do, none of us are at fault" He can't say that, Terrence knows to himself that this is because of him.

He just sat down in defeat, he really want to clear this mess as soon as possible "I just want this to be down and over with, I can't bear the guilt, If it wasn't because of my stupid decision this mess won't happen" He can't say that he's innocent because he clearly knows it started with him.

"Forgive yourself Terrence, I know that this is not your intentions" Kevin hold Terrence's shoulder in assurance.
