Chapter 65: The Queen and Her King

It had always been a nice day to just chill and do nothing, trying to reciprocate your energy and get ready for the next work that you will have to do.

But that's not the case with Ysa, she have been cursing in her head since this morning, because of the sudden change that she implemented to the Constellation, she now have to approve a lot of things just to keep up with the changes.

Maurice knocked on her door and placed another mountain of paper works that she needs to approve.

"Here is the proposed new work flow" Maurice said as soon as she stepped back from Ysa's table, she is aware of the stress that Ysa is currently handling, with the sudden changes, work is overwhelming.

"By the way, an admire is outside waiting for you, he said that you might not stand up from your desk so he is waiting for you outside"

Ysa can only tilt her head in confusion on who that admirer might be, then she remembered Patrick Fraust,

She can feel that Patrick Fraust is treating her somewhat different than a usual relationship that partners have, and she's not that numb not to feel that somehow Patrick is expressing his admiration for her, but she doesn't want any of that.

"Tell him that I am way too busy, I'll skip my lunch" she's not comfortable hanging out with another man alone, the dinner last night was the last time that she will agree on going out with him alone.

After Maurice went out of her office, she continued working on until she got through half of the pile, Ysa can feel that her stomach have started protesting but she doesn't have the appetite to even get out of her office.

There might be a lot of work in her table but the consistency of work makes her at peace, for a while she doesn't want to deal with any surprises.

"You might die if you continue doing what you do"

Ysa was taken aback by the familiar voice that she heard.

A voice that always keeps her heart beating wildly and ironically keep her head cool.

"Ian…" then he walked toward her table and started scanning through the paper works that she have been dealing with, Ysa can only follow his movement, she can't even believe that he is here right in

front of her, in her office.

"I think you will have to hire a secretary for you deal with all of this, this is too much work for you"

"Why are you here?"

"Didn't Maurice told you already? I am waiting for you for about an hour now but you are not even bulging in your office so I decided to go up here and drag you out"

She still can't believe that he went to her.

It is her deepest fantasy since she went back 4 years ago. She missed those times that Ian would suddenly show up where she is and let her take a break from the work that she have been doing.

For her, Ian is her comfort zone, and even after five year since she broke up with him, he still is.

Her eyes are already filling up with tears.

"What do you think you're doing suddenly showing up in here"

Ian looked at her and she can see that Ysa is close to crying.

In the past few days that they keep on seeing each other, he knows it too well that she is dealing

with a lot of things and he wanted to there for her.

Most important of all the reason that he have is that he can't take it anymore seeing another man near her.

Call him possessive or what but he won't be able to keep his cool if this continues. 5 years is enough.

He doesn't care anymore.

"Correcting the biggest mistake of my life" then Ysa just broke out in tears.

Ian closed the gap between the two of them, and hugged her that made Ysa cry like a baby.

"Hush now my Queen" he continued to stroke her hair as she kept on crying.

Ysa just kept on saying that she's sorry for breaking up with him, that she should never have done it.

"No, I should have hold on to you" then Ian broke out of the hug to see to her eye to eye "Ysa, I'm sorry for not choosing you 5 years ago. None of the achievements can even make it worth it."

For the past 5 years of his career, he have gained a lot but those things are nothing compared to what he lost when they both broke up.

"I never stopped loving you"

Those were the very words that Ysa wanted to say, she's just happy that they still feel the same even after all this years.

"I also still in love with you my king" then this time it is Ysa who hugged him as tight as she can.

Ian accepted the hug and also hugged her tightly, he is now smiling and his eyes are full of admiration for the girl who never left his mind.

"I don't want to assume and I want to hear it from you"

Ysa broke out the hug and look at Ian in confusion

"What?"

"You are mine again right?"

Ysa looked at him amusingly and didn't speak for a while, she then laughed and went back to her sit

and pretend to go back into her work

"Hey! Answer me first" then Ian started to annoy her until she answer his question first.

The atmosphere between the two of them have started to lighten up and becomes playful.

Maurice and Faux can only watch the two of them at the door.

"I am now more at ease that my little sister can finally be happy again"

"How can you say that?" Maurice is also happy that Ysa have finally got back the love of her life but she just can't get used to seeing Faux in this serious and responsible look.

He have always been playful and chaotic in her eyes but there will be moments like this that he can show his serious side.

"Nothing much, and you" he closed the door and turned to Maurice "You should stop punishing Argon or else he will kill me"

Faux have notice that Argon is near the staircase and was watching the two of them for a while.
